~chapter 17~
I take my luggage and throw it into the trunk of the taxi car.
It was pretty easy getting in the car actually.
But right before I left, Shawn came running.
"Shawn?" I whispered.
"WAIT!" He screamed.
I stopped the taxi driver and watched Shawn run towards me.
He reaches me out of breath and opens my door.
He takes a deep breath and kisses me.
My cheeks turn red and I don't make eye contact.
"What was that for?" I asked.
"I did that bec-" he gets cuts off.
I hesitate and I watch the taxi driver ride away.
Leaving Shawn behind, waving goodbye.
I reach the airport and sit at my gate waiting for the flight to Indiana.
I get on my plane and arrived in 2 hours, maybe more.
I get off and I get home in a taxi.
I check my phone and see two messages.
{bye. Hope to see u soon! -Nash}
I rolled my eyes at his messages, I knew he didn't mean it.
But the second message was special
{I kissed you for good luck. I'm your good luck charm}
I laughed at the text and put sense into it.
I replied back to him:
{aw. Thanks for the kiss, my lucky charm}
After a few minutes, he responds:
{you're welcome? What kiss are you talking about?}
I responded quickly:
{the kiss you gave me before I left to the airport}
I get a text a few minutes later:
{I was never there. I went back to Canada that day but at 5:30 am}
I scrolled back up searching for the text he sent me before about the kiss.
Up and down I went and nothing.
I supported my statement: I'm going insane
