~chapter 22~
Nurses ran in and I just stood there in shock.
I watched him suffer, tangled up in the wires but I decided to do nothing.
I saw Allison try to help by detangling the wires but all she gave, was the stank eye at me.
"Everyone must leave." One of the nurses called out.
But I still stood there without flinching to any movement around me.
"You must leave!" A nurse shoved me.
But my reflexes kicked in and I punched her.
That's when they evacuated me from the premises.
I stood outside of the hospital staring in Taylor's hospital room until one of the nurses decided to close the curtains.
I sat on the bench just sleeping with my eyes open.
I was dozed off in my thoughts when I felt force hit my face.
I look up and see Allison.
"You bitch!" She says quickly after.
I stand up instantly and push her down.
"Stop." I say and walk away.
Where? I don't know.
I walked for about 15 minutes and found myself in front of closed stores.
I sat on the bench and stared at the stars.
They aligned in the sky creating images.
"Maddie?" A voice asked.
I turned to my left and saw a figure hidden in the shadow.
I squinted my eyes and tried to figure out who it was.
"Cameron?" I asked.
"Hey!" He responded.
I jumped out of my seat and ran to hug him.
I cuddled into his chest and sniffed in his scent.
"I missed you so much, Cameron." I say.
He didn't respond. I looked up at his face and saw nothing.
I let go and there was no body.
Where did he go? I was alone again. But this time, I was seeing things.
