Cameron POV
I fixed my shirt and walked up to Tanzy.
"Hey, can we talk?" I ask giving her a tiny grin.
She nods her head and we left the room.
We walked by the pool in the hotel and we sat in the chairs.
"Cameron, there's something I've been meaning to tell you." She said but I interrupted because I was anxious.
"Tanzy, before you tell me. Let me ask you. Tanzy, I've had a crush on you for a while now. I've been meaning to ask you out but I didn't know when the time was right. But now I know. So Tanzy, will you be my-" she interrupted.
"I'm sorry, Cameron. I can't. I like you. ALOT. But I can't. We aren't meant to be." She said. She got up quickly and left.
I sat there staring at the pool just playing with the necklace.
The necklace that had her name on it but wouldn't be useful now.
Tanzy POV
I left in a hurry and left the hotel to go to Taco Bell. Gotta have me some tacos.
I walk inside and order. I look around as I wait for my food and notice Matt and Carter sitting at the table.
I immediately cover my face and hide.
"Tanzy? Tanzy!" Matt yelled.
I slowly stand straight and wave my hand awkwardly. He makes a gesture notifying me to sit with them.
I grab my food, pay, and walk towards them.
"Hey Matt. Hi Carter." I say with the taco in my hand.
"Wanna eat with us?" Carter offers.
I was leaning towards saying no but the puppy dog eyes killed me.
I sat down in the empty seat and ate my taco as neatly as I can.
"So did cameron ask you out yet?" Matt asked.
I sigh and explained the situation.
"So I walked away and came here." I explained.
"Oh. That's too bad. He really liked you." Carter said.
"Excuse me?" I say politely.
"Yeah. He always talked about how beautiful and nice you are." Matt added.
I was captured in my thoughts.
Did I make the wrong decision?
Am I meant for him?
I finished my taco and said bye to Carter and Matt.
I ran out of there as fast as I could to get Cameron back.
Cameron POV
I sat there hopelessly until the door opened.
I sat up and glanced at who it was. There was Maddie.
"Hey." I said, getting back in my position.
"I've been looking everywhere for you!" She said.
"Well, you found me." I responded.
She sensed something was wrong and sat in the chair next to me.
"What happened?" She asked in concern.
"Tanzy dumped me before we even started dating." I said summarizing the whole situation.
"Don't worry. Sometimes you don't need a girlfriend. All you need are friends. That's why I'm here." She comforts me with her words.
She places her hand over mine and grins at me.
Tanzy POV
I ran for my life. I ran in between cars and pushed people out of my way.
I was a bit athletic being I was captain in Volleyball.
But I ran until I reached the hotel. Guessing he is still at the indoor pool, I fix my shirt and walk towards the door with a deep breath.
I open the door quickly and see Cameron.
Cameron POV
I stand up and run toward Tanzy.
She hugs me tightly and kisses my cheek.
We hug for a while until she whispers in my ear.
"I'll be your girlfriend."
I smile and pull away.
I stare into her blue eyes and kissed her.
Maddie POV
I watched them kiss from the door's window.
I wasn't ready to let go but it went anyways.
