~chapter 51~
Maddie POV
I walked with Taylor to the taxi.
I told the driver the address and drove us there in a matter of minutes.
We walked up to my porch and I opened the door.
My mom was there watching her recordings while my little sister was on the computer playing on some website.
"I'm home." I say getting their attention.
My mom waved and smiled.
Taylor lifted my bags upstairs to my room and sat down on my bed.
"Wanna sleepover tonight?" I ask him.
"Sure. Nobody is home at my house so might as well." He said carelessly.
We were only getting married in weeks from now and I was stressed out.
We cuddled in bed while we watched House M.D. on Netflix.

I woke up to nobody besides me.
I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth.
I smelled food and I knew it wasn't my mother.
I looked in the kitchen to see Taylor cooking.
My smile widened as he flipped the pancakes in the pan.
"Hello, fiancé." I say with a French accent.
"Well bonjour fiancé madam." He said with an accent as well but it was a horrible accent.
I hugged him from behind and laid my chin on his shoulder.
"So what are we doing today?" I ask.
"It's not what WE are doing. It's what YOU are doing." He said abbreviating on the words.
"What am I doing?" I ask.
"Well, you are going wedding dress huntin' today with your mom, sister, grandmother, and my mom." He told me.
"I thought your mom wasn't home." I said.
"I lied. I wanted to spend the night with you." He said sweetly.
**********
We arrived at the dress-shop-store-design-place. (Idk what it's called)
The lady let me pick out a few dresses myself.
I picked a mermaid dress, a all-lace dress, and a sweetheart neckline-lace-mermaid dress.
I went into the dressing room an changed into the first dress.
I walked out to show my relatives. I wasn't amazed by the dress. It wasn't meant for me.
I took it off and tried another. This one was more flattering so I walked back out more confident.
"OOOO. That's pretty." I hear my grandma say.
I smirk but I didn't feel that "feeling" when I know it's the one.
I took the last dress and slipped it on.
I was stunned at the dress. It fit perfectly and it was overall perfection.
I walked out to see my mother in tears.
I looked myself in the mirror and began to tear up, it was the one.
"Is it this one?" The lady asked.
I wiped away my tear and said "yes."
I can't wait to get married😁
