Shawn POV
It's been a few weeks since Jack G left and a month since Emily and I hit the peak of our relationship.
Tonight I'm taking her out to dinner for our 4 month anniversary.
I put on a nice polo shirt with jeans and decided to fix my hair a little.
I drove to her house and ringed her doorbell.
The door opened to Emily's mom.
"Hello, shawn." She greeted me.
I smiled and greeted her back.
"She will be right down." She responded.
She led me to her living room so I could wait for her.
"Hey shawn." I heard Emily's voice say.
I turned around to see her in a casual but flattering dress. She seemed upset.
"Hi. Um. Let's go." I say.
She waves goodbye to her mom as I escort her to my car.
We enter the car in silence which seemed weird since she was the craziest and loudest person I know.
"So how was your day?" I asked making conversation.
"Fine, I guess." She said looking out the window, with a sad look on her face.
I lock my fingers into hers and I kiss her hand at a red light.
I put music on and begin to hum. She loves to sing along.
"Ooo pretty baby, this world might of gone crazy. The way you save me, who could blame me when I just wanna make you smile." I sang along to the song, Classic by MKTO.
She looks at me and gives me a smirk. She goes back to the same position only leaving me upset as well.
We arrive to the restaurant and we sit down at a table of two specially reserved.
There sat a single candle just like the moonlight dinner we had.
"My name is Jasmine. I will be your waiter for today. May I ask what you will be ordering this evening?" The waiter asked.
"I will be having a 6oz sirloin with steamed veggies." I say. I signal Emily to speak next.
"I just want a bowl of your mashed potatoes and a water please." She said.
I was surprised because she loved to eat steak.
"So is everything ok?" I say in concern.
"Yeah." She said unsure.
"You aren't. I can tell." I say.
"Shawn." She said with a tear drop running down her cheek.
She lays her hand over mine.
"I missed my period."

Emily POV
I walked into the pharmacy and looked in each aisle until I reached the pregnancy aisle.
I looked at each box reading the brands.
Clearblue, E.P.T. , Accuclear
I took the one that is most trusted.
I hid it in my hand, hoping no one will see.
I wait in line until it's my turn.
"Next" the woman yelled.
I walked up to her nervously. I looked around to see if anybody was watching.
I handed it to her to watch her facial expression.
"Honey, I'm here for you." She said.
She scans the box and says, "13.09"
I give her a 10 dollar bill and a 5.
She hands me the bag with the test and my change.
"Best wishes." She said while I waved goodbye.
I ring Shawn's doorbell and he opens.
"Take me to your room." I say.
He escorts me to his room and let's me sit on his bed.
He locks the door and shows me the bathroom.
I walk inside and open the box.
I do what the instruction tells me to and walk out the bathroom after I finished.
I sat next Shawn and held the stick in my hand. We had to wait 2 minutes to get the results.
He rubbed my back while I squeezed his hand.
I check the clock and 2 minutes passed.
I take a deep breath and look at the stick with him.
"I'm pregnant." I say.
Tears rolled down my face as Shawn stood up and paced left to right.
"Shawn. What am I going to do? I mean, what are WE gonna do?" I say in panic.
"Shawn, are we gonna keep the baby or-" he interrupts me.
"That doesn't matter. Why matters is that I'll be here with you. Through it all." He says holding both my hands.
"Promise?" I say.
"Promise."
