~chapter 13~
It's been a few days that I have been staying at the hospital.
Today was the day I left and continued life.
"Are you ready?" Shawn appears at my doorway and asked.
I nodded and put my duffel bad over my shoulder.
He walked over to me and pushed me. Technically, my wheelchair.
We arrive at Bart's minivan and Shawn opens the door.
We get inside and drive off.
We reach back at the hotel and he takes me to his room.
He opens the door and everyone jumps out and screams,"surprise!"
I smirk and greet all the boys.
I looked around and still no Taylor.
I must've really hurt him.
We talked, danced, played truth or dare, and ate.
But I didn't feel right. I left the party on my own and went off to my room.
I opened my door and there sat Taylor. My eyes widened and my heart fluttered.
He looked up in shock as if he didn't expect me.
"Hey." I say.
"Hi." He said blankly. But he was captured in his thoughts.
"What are you do-" he interrupted me.
"I know." He says.
"What?" I asked.
"I know about him." He responds.
"I know you know. I told you about Camer-" he interrupts again.
"No! I know about David!" He sad a little louder.
My heart stopped beating. I couldn't breathe.
"Who told y-"
"It doesn't matter who told me! What matters is what you did!" He yells.
I began to cry and couldn't stop.
"Well, what did I do?" I ask him so I could face the truth.
He pauses and stares at the wardrobe.
"I know that you abused David. You tortured him and made him feel worthless. You mocked him! You hated him. You made himself hate him. You practically KILLED HIM!" He yelled.
I screamed and cried. I couldn't breathe and my body didn't move.
"He committed suicide because of you. You hit him and hurt him. You are a knife in the heart! He was my best friend!" He began to cry.
I couldn't live with myself. My eyes were filled with tears, my heart couldn't function. I was a different person back then.
But like they say,
"Karma's a bitch."
I got on my knees and sobbed into my hands.
From the corner of my eye, I saw Taylor leave.
I got up and laid on my bed. I looked at the lamp next the bed. Until I realized I saw a note sitting there.
