~chapter 52~
Maddie POV
I stared the detail that laid upon the dress.
"Hey." My mother sneaked behind me.
I smirk and watch her enter the room with Taylor's mom.
She unhooked the dress and passed it to me.
I walked behind the curtain and took off my clothes.
I twisted and turned, pulling the dress up to my chest.
I wiggled one last time and felt my waist.
I stared at the long mirror before me, only thinking about my future. My future with Taylor.
I walked out and saw my mom in awh.
She walked up to me and hugged me tight in comfort.
"Moms, you need to head out. We are starting in 5." The Wedding Planner told us.
My mother kissed my forehead gently an left the room with Taylor's mom.
I stared at myself in the mirror, and found myself in deep thought.
"This is only the beginning. The beginning of my future, his future, our future." I whispered to myself.
I touched the beading at the bottom of my dress and fixed the dress to my comfort.
I grabbed the bouquet and took one last deep breath. I walked out, not looking back.
Taylor POV
I pinned the flower to the top left of my tuxedo.
I stared at the mirror, looking for anything to fix.
I heard the door creek open as I turn back to see my dad.
"Hey dad." I say with a smirk.
He comes up behind me and fixes my collar and dusts off my shoulder.
He turned me around and began to speak.
"I have seen you grow from a 5 year old with a bucket on his head to a mature, grown man who is marrying his lover. You have never made me so proud."
He held onto my face as I smiled to his words.
I have reached my greatest goal. Make my father proud.
"Groom. Start heading out." The Wedding Planner told us.
My dad walked out and rushed to his seat.
I glanced at the mirror one last time and walked out.
I stepped up the stand as I waved to my family members and the guys.
I ran fingers through my hair and waited.
The music began to play and I took one last deep breath. I watched, not looking back.
Maddie POV
The doors opened before me as I began to walk down the aisle.
With my older brother, Charlie, beside me, I walked confident.
I smiled at all the family members that waved hello.
We reached to the stand and my brother kissed my cheek as he led me up the steps.
Everyone sat down in unison as I stared into Taylor's eyes.
The minister began the ceremony.
"Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today in the presence of these witnesses, to join Madeline and Taylor in matrimony commended to be honorable among all; and therefore is not to be entered into lightly but reverently, passionately, lovingly and solemnly. Into this - these two persons present now come to be joined. If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together - let them speak now or forever hold their peace."
