Chapter 43: Complicated Love- Devotion
*Haley's POV*
"What?!" I screeched. Him too? Ugh, when does it ever end?! His face blurred as I started to pass out. All of the sudden, my body gave way and I blacked out.
*Zayn's POV*
I was on my way back from getting Haley some tea when I heard an ear-splitting scream. Knowing it belonged to Haley, I ran to her room and burst through the door. Before my eyes was Louis holding Haley who was passed out. "What happened?" I asked. "She looked tired and then she just passed out" he answered. "Oh thank you for saving her. I'll just take her home" I replied in a hurry, rushing to her side as I carried her to the car. After I got home, I took her inside and put a warm washcloth on her forehead to revive her. Shortly, her eyes fluttered open and she slowly sat up. "Hi Zayn" she smiled, looking guilty. "What's wrong baby?" I asked. "I need to talk to you" she told me. "About what?" I asked nervously. "I need to talk to you" is never a good thing. It could mean anything: breakup, doubts of relationship, etc. "I'm sorry about kissing Liam twice a while back. I feel so disgusted" she apologized. "That's okay. You've not done it since and besides, it was his fault. It's in the past" I answered. Those kisses were completely Liam's fault not hers. We worked it out in the past anyway. "I know but I feel like you treat me way better and I'm not being equal to you, not pulling my weight in the relationship. You're so devoted to me and I'm not. So I'm going to prove it to you. I'll spend all my time with you trying to prove it because I really love you and I want to show that I'm really serious about our relationship. I want to treat you fairly" she explained. "Thank you. Honestly, I think you've done great. I mean, you basically risked your future just to have a child with me. But I do look forward to spending time with you. I love you" I kissed her. "I love you too" she grinned. I've never really had any doubts about her. I admit that I treat her better but I'm supposed to; I'm her boyfriend. Plus, I enjoy spoiling her. But maybe this will strengthen our relationship and make us more stable for when the baby comes. By the way, we're having a boy. Anyways, I wonder how her idea will turn out. Only the future will tell us.
