Complicated Love: Chapter 60

I honestly can't believe this is the 60th chapter of Complicated Love! That's crazy right?

Again (unless you didn't see my status), I am so so sorry that I haven't updated in a long time but when I had a chance, I got sick and then school kept me busy again. I hope that doesn't happen again because I hate to keep you all waiting and I love writing for you(: So I am sorry and yeah.

*Zayn's POV*

No matter how long I stare at the paper in front of me, I just cannot seem to think of the right words to write on the paper. Anything I think of ends up sounding stupid and yet another ball of crumpled paper in the wastebasket. I give up hope and head downstairs to the kitchen. Maybe I just need some food for brain fuel. I make a bowl of Chex Mix and some milk and walk back upstairs. After I eat, I slouch back into my desk chair and sigh. I bet I'll never think of anything and make Haley cry at the wedding. Not wanting that to happen, I pick up my pencil and start out easy: writing my name.

After an hour, all I have down is some stupid ideas:

1. Work an "I love you" into it.

2. Explain how we met.

3. Compliment her.

All obvious, all useless.

This is impossible; how can they expect me to write this thing and make it sound perfect?! I'm not sappy and horrible at expressing my feelings. I need Liam's help...

"That's all you have?" is the first thing out of his mouth. "Just the thing I needed to hear" I snap. "Sorry but seriously? You're head over heels for her; I thought this'd be easy for you" he replies. "Thanks for the help" I reply sarcastically. He laughs, making his case worse. "I agree with your first idea. If you don't, then this whole thing is pointless" he tells me, scanning over my list. I nod and look at him to continue. "The second is good but go into more depth, like how it felt when you first made eye contact and the thoughts running through your mind" he explains. God, how is he so good at the romantic stuff? "Thanks" I smile. "No problem. Now, as for your last one, obvious but yes. Tell her she's never looked as beautiful as she does today or that she keeps on getting even more amazing each day. I'm sure she'll love that" he answers. I wonder if he remembers this from his dumb crush on her. "This helps a lot mate. Thanks" I grin and write down his tips, even though I won't use them as well as he could. Either way, it at least provides me with a starting point.

Just after Liam leaves, Haley comes in with a large white box in her arms. "Hello darling. What's in the box?" I ask, greeting her with a loving kiss. "Hello sweetheart" she giggles. "A secret" she winks, running upstairs with it. I follow her and catch her hiding it on the top shelf. "What all did you do today?" she asks, sitting on our bed. "Just caught up with Liam" I lie. Well, in a way; we did but most of my day was consumed by attempting to write my wedding vows. "Sounds fun. How was it?" she asks, pulling her phone off the charger. I take it off her and smirk. "Good. Who texted you?" I ask, seeing her phone light up with a notification. "I wish I knew" she sighs, trying to grab it back. From Evelynne: 'Today was so fun!(: Can't to wait to see his reaction(; x'. "What's this all about?" I ask, raising my eyebrow. "My dress" she shrugs and I blush at my over-thinking. I can trust her, no worries. She laughs at me cutely. I start to wonder how her vows are coming along.

Before you start commenting mean things to me, (yes it's happened before), I know this is a sucky filler but I need it to get to the more interesting part. Please keep your negativity to yourself(:

I also have some big news before we get to the QOTC's.......

I am afraid that this book may be coming to an end in a few (5-11) chapters ),:

This saddens me but all good things must come to an end sometime. However, I have an idea for a new one so let me know if you want a sequel to this, the new one (I 'll share in the next chapter) or both.
