Hello loves!

I want to begin by apologizing for the billionth time for my absence. I actually tried updating this chapter multiple times but Wattpad was acting up again and wouldn't let me type anything except for a title so I'm sorry but I am just glad that I am able to upload this today.

As you may already know, this is the absolute last chapter of this story. While I am so sad to see it end, I am so excited for my new book and how you guys will like that.

Without getting too sentimental, let's just jump right into this chapter!

*4 years later*

*Haley's POV*

"NYPD open up!" Louis yells, knocking on our suspect's door. "Stay back" he tells me before busting down the door. "NYPD show us your hands!" he orders the stout brunette man. He raises both arms in surrender. "Come with me" Louis demands, cuffing him. "Be careful, you wouldn't want to harm the baby" he warns me, referring to my third child on the way. I am currently 3 months along with my third child. I nod and follow him and our suspect, Clyde Belasco, down to the station.

*at the station*

"I'm Detective Tomlinson. This is Haley Malik" Louis introduces us. "What, is she supposed to be the bad cop?" Clyde smirks at me. I internally gag; as if I'd ever be interested in him anyways. "No, she is a mystery writer who works alongside of me as research. Please keep this appropriate, Mr. Belasco" he answers firmly. "What is your relationship with our victim, Madison Beaumont?" he asks him. "I don't know her" Clyde shrugs. "Really? Because she seemed to know you" he says, showing him Madison's phone records. "This is Madison's phone records. It shows here that she made a dozen phone calls to you the day before she was killed. Now, do you want to tell me again that you have no idea who she is?!" he retaliates harshly. "Fine, we talked a few times. So?" Clyde asks. "It says that a majority of these calls were over 15 minutes long. What would you guys talk about?" he asks. With a sigh, Clyde finally starts to give in. "We met in high school. We were good friends until she went off to be some big designer at Kleinfield's. A couple weeks ago, she calls me up, saying how she needed help being protected from some guy" he starts. "Who?" I question. "I don't know. All I did was drive her to work and then drive her home and stay the night. A couple days ago, she starts calling all the time while she was at work, saying he got to her and to come quick. When I got there, she was already dead. That's it" he finishes as I look at Louis, who just holds a hard expression. "Where were you between 3:00 and 4:00pm?" he inquires. "I was at the bar down the street from her work. The bartender can vouch for me" he replies. "I'll be sure to check that out" Louis nods and releases him.

"Well Clyde alibis out. The bartender confirmed he was there unitl 4:15pm. He can't be our killer" Louis sighs. "Do you mind if I come back in a little while? I need to check on Zayn and the kids" I answer. "Sure, go ahead" he smiles. "Thanks. Save something cool for me" I giggle and walk off to the elevator.

"Zayn? I'm home!" I call, walking into our lovely two-story house in Queens. "Upstairs love!" he calls back as I take off my shoes and head up to our room. I find him working on his video game designs for Nintendo with both our little boys, Connor and Aiden. "How are your designs coming along?" I ask, watching him sketch away happily. "Good. I'm almost done with the Mario one. How was interrogating suspects with Louis?" he laughs. "Exciting. I'm going to be really disappointed when I become too pregnant to do it" I frown slightly. "Did you hear Liam found a new job?" he asks. "No. That's so exciting! What's his new job?" I squeal. "He's the local fireman in Bronx" he giggles. "That's awesome!" I grin. "Yeah and Jordyn and Niall finally moved in together. The newly weds now live in an apartment uptown" he smiles. "What about Harry and Dany? We haven't heard from them in a while" I say. "Don't expect to any time soon. Those lovebirds can't keep their hands off each other" he rolls his eyes. It's true; ever since their wedding two months ago, we haven't seen the two. I suddenly recieve a text from Caroline. "Hey girl, texting you from Paris. Evelynne and Ralph Lauren say hi!" she sends. "Hey you guys! Zayn and I say hi too(: Have fun designing clothes. Be sure to send me some(;" I send back.

"Isn't this great how everything turned out?" he asks, cuddling with me in bed after he puts the kids to bed. "What do you mean?" I chuckle, turning to face him. "I mean, if you hadn't been assigned to be in my class, none of this would've happened. You know, I wouldn't have met you and found my true love and have two amazing children and another on the way or have the perfect job or the perfect life. None of this would've happened without you. And I am so thankful for that" he explains, ending his amazing speech with an amazing kiss.

That is it guys!

I had so much fun writing this book. The whole experience has been so so amazing and like Zayn said, none of this would've happened without you guys so thank you very very much. I am forever grateful and I love you guys to the very end.

And don't forget that my new book is coming out soon so stay tuned for that!(:

PS: I used some of the names and the whole writer-detective thing from Castle but switched around the names and cases. It was not to copy in any way; it was just for inspiration.

Again, I love you guys so much, my crazy mofos. See you in my next book!
