Chapter 23: Complicated Love- Secrets

*Zayn's POV*

"Baby you promised we could be alone together tonight" Haley whined. We were on the way to Niall's flat. "We will! I just need to talk to Niall first" I promised. Her face flushed with worry at those words. "What?" I asked. "Don't leave me" she begged. "I won't be long. Then we can do whatever you want at my flat" I assured her. "Just don't" she pleaded, hanging on to my arm. "Why?" I asked. She's really close to Niall. Why is she suddenly so scared of him? "Did he do something to you?" I asked. "No" she mumbled. "Then why can't I visit him?" I laughed. "Because he has a date" she blurted out. She still looked worried though so I knew there was more to it. "So? Isn't his new girlfriend your friend Jordyn?" I questioned. "Yeah but-" "Haley we're both gonna visit him real quick" I insisted. I dragged her there and knocked on the door. "Hey Zayn! Haley! Come in" he smiled. "Thanks. Is Jordyn here?" Haley asked. "She just left actually but we had a great time. I really like her. Thanks for setting us up" he grinned. "No problem" she replied. "Niall I have a question" I spoke up. Haley tensed up in my arms. "What is it mate?" he asked. "Do you and Haley know something I don't?" I asked. "Uhhh no" he mumbled. "You sure? You guys are acting weird" I inquired. "Can I tell him Haley?" Niall asked her. I could feel her heart beating quickly. "Will you hate me?" she asked me. "No I love you" I laughed. "Then yes" she nodded slowly. "Liam kissed her last week" Niall told me. "He what?!" I yelled as my hands turned to fists. "Zayn don't be mad. It meant nothing to me" Haley grabbed my hand shaking. "But it obviously meant a lot to him! He promised to never go after you" I roared. "He also said he loves me but we agreed to be friends. Please don't hurt him. It was just to see if I had feelings for him. I realized I love you when he did. Don't hate Liam" she explained. "You sure it was just a meaningless test?" I asked, calming down. "I swear! You can lecture him if you want but please don't hate him or hurt him" she begged. She was sensitive to others. "I won't but I will talk to him about it tomorrow" I agreed. "Thank you!" she hugged me tightly. "Niall thank you for being there for me. You're like my older brother" Haley hugged him. Niall wrapped his arms around her and smiled. He'd adored her as a little sister since they met. He always looked after her and protected her. It was sweet. "You're welcome. I love ya little sis" he grinned, spinning her around. "Love you too Horan" she giggled. "Now if you'll excuse us, I promised this girl a night alone" I smirked. She blushed as she escaped from Niall. "Alright well keep it PG. I am only across the street" he laughed. Haley slapped him playfully and giggled. "No promises Niall. Better prepare yourself" I chuckled. "Oh god" he groaned. We laughed and ran across the street.

Con. 23:

As soon as we came in, we looked at each other with lust. I knew what we both wanted. "Are you sure?" I asked. She nodded and smiled. In response, I picked her up and carried her bridal style to my bedroom. I laid her down on the bed gently and hovered over her, kissing her hard on the mouth. Her lips parted, allowing me to slip my tongue in. She moaned as I explored her mouth. Her small hands tugged on my hair in pleasure. Mine remained wrapped around her neck. "Do you really want this baby?" I asked. I didn't want her to regret this. "Yes. Take me home Zayn" she assured. I kissed her again as my hands slid down to the bottom of her shirt. Let's just say amazing memories were made.
