Chapter 58: Complicated Love- Another Baby?
*Haley's POV*
I look at him intently, waiting for an answer. "Well I'd still be a little scared but I'd also be very happy because we'd be blessed with another baby" he answers sweetly. "That's great" I smile. "Why? Are you pregnant?" he asks. "I don't know; it's only been a day. I was just asking in case I fall pregnant again in the future" I reply honestly. "Oh" he nods, wrapping his tattoo-filled, muscular arms around my frail waist. I lay my head on his chest and close my eyes as my body prays for sleep.
I wake up around 9 and walk down the hall to check on Connor. "How you doin' buddy?" I ask happily, scooping him up in my arms. He coos and grabs at my necklace. I giggle and gently pry his fingers off of it. After changing his diaper, I carry him downstairs and feed him breakfast. By the time we've both eaten, Zayn finally drags himself downstairs. "Morning" I laugh, taking in his appearance. His usually perfect hair is in mats and he has heavy stubble all over his face. "Morning beautiful" he smiles, kissing both my cheeks and Connor's. "Want to take Connor to the park?" he yawns, making some coffee. "I'm not going anywhere with you until you shave" I sass, not even kidding. He pouts and goes in for a kiss. I pull away quickly. "I'm not kissing you either" I add, just trying to motivate him. "Babe" he whines, trying his luck again. I move to the side and point to the stairs, hands on my hips.
After a while, Zayn comes back down all groomed. "Better" I wink, rewarding him with a kiss. He smirks in victory and kisses me again, this time harder. I giggle and pull us apart. "We have time for that later" I smirk, placing Connor in his stroller.
