Chapter 48: Complicated Love- Life Changing News
*Zayn's POV*
Sounds of our little baby boy crying filled the room. Tears jumped to my eyes when I saw him being brought to sink to be rinsed off. He's really here. This is actually happening. Haley already started crying when I turned to look at her. I entwined my hand with hers as our little boy was brought to us. He was wrapped in a blue blanket with a mint green hat on his head, crying a little still. Haley took him in her arms, tears dripping down her face. "We'll leave you alone" the doctors and nurses informed us, exiting the room. The boys showered with hugs and "congrats" before going too. "I'm sorry Zayn" she blurted out. "For what?" I asked, puzzled. "For snapping at you earlier. It was uncalled for and rude of me" she sobbed into my shirt, still holding the baby. He needs a name. "Aww baby it's okay" I cooed, rubbing her back. "Thanks" she sniffled, wiping her eyes. "Anything babe" I smiled. "Do you have a name for him?" I asked, looking down at him. "Not now. Can we decide tomorrow?" she pushed the subject away. "Sure" I nodded. "Sorry, I'm just really tired so my ideas will probably be retarded anyways" she apologized, snuggling up to me as I laid on the bed with her. "It's okay. I understand. You don't have to keep apologizing" I laughed. "Thank you" she served me a smile. "Of course" I smiled back.
*2 hours later, at their house*
After the baby was settled into its crib, Haley and I sat on the couch and cuddled up while watching a movie. "Divergent" was its name I believe. It was pretty good. Haley cried when Tris's parents died. (Sorry if that was a spoiler! I saw it last night) When it was over, Haley started fidgeting in my arms. "What's wrong love?" I asked in concern. "Nothing" she shook her head, avoiding the question. She has a habit of doing that. "Earthquake" started playing on her phone all of the sudden. "It's Danyelle. Excuse me" she told me, getting up. She padded off to the other room, answering her. After a few minutes, I heard her arguing with Danyelle. Curiosity got the best of me and I went over the eavesdrop. "No Dany I can't. It'll break his heart" she shouted. "No, I didn't even wanna tell you but you forced your way to my appointment (Nothing personal Dany. Just for the story. Love you!)" she shook her head, frustrated. "Dany, for the last time, no. If I tell Zayn I have cancer, he'll be crushed"
