Chapter 47: Complicated Love- Delivery!
*Zayn's POV*
The nurse came in and checked on Haley. "Good news! You're dilated 10 centimeters. You're ready for delivery" she smiled. Haley and I both had tears in our eyes as she was wheeled to the delivery room. Once we were in, the doctor told her to start pushing. Her eyes screwed shut as she pushed and pushed. "Push, push" the doctor told her. "Shut up! I'm doing it!" she barked at him. "Calm down love. You're doing great" I encouraged her, holding her hand. "What do you know?! You're not giving birth are you?!" she snapped. My face fell to a frown as she continued to push and scream out in pain. "Don't let it get to you. All pregnant women act this way. After, she'll be a crying mess and apologize like crazy" a nurse assured me, reading my face. "Thanks" I answered, starting to get my smile back. "Haley, you're going to have to push a whole lot harder" he told her. "I'm trying!" she whined, attempting to push harder. She was having a hard time. I read that it's because she is younger so she had to try harder than the normal age range. I know she can do it though. She's got a tough side to her hidden behind her fragile walls. "Good! Keep going" the doctor informed her. "I can't!" she sobbed, her entire face red as she fell back in the chair. Danyelle suddenly came in and rushed to her side. "We're all here! The boys are coming down the hall" she panted. "Dany I can't do this" Haley whimpered. "Yes you can. I believe in you. Zayn does. We all do" she replied confidently. "Will you hold my hand too?" Hales asked. "Nope! I gotta film!" she shrieked, whipping out her camera. Haley groaned as she started pushing again. By this time, the boys had come in and helped me support her while Danyelle filmed the tense experience. "I see a head! Keep going" the doctor exclaimed. I took a look. It was disgusting yet beautiful at the same time. I'm really having a son! Wow, never thought I'd say that. "We have a neck!" he called out. Haley's body soaked with sweat as she pushed harder and harder. "You're doing amazing baby" I kissed her hand. She gave me a slight smile before screaming in agony. "He's almost here! Come on!" he provoked her further. Haley groaned in frustration. It quickly faded as we heard the most beautiful sound.
