Lily

"Danaya, what should I do? Hindi pa nagigising si Brent." I sighed in despair while we're eating at the cafeteria inside the hospital.

She gasped my hand and give it a little squeeze, "Friend, just trust kay Lord, okay? He'll be fine, okay?"

You know what, I really love Naya. She's like a full-blooded sister to me already. She wants to get married instead as soon as all my memories returned. How selfless she is that's why she's the most best bestfriend of all.

Tumango ako at ngumiti ng matipid. "Sana nga, bestie. It hurts me seeing Brent like that. Mas eager tuloy akong gumaling lalo para kapag gumising siya, okay na ako. That we can go on and live happily."

"You will, BFF. Let's pray for your recovery as well. At saka nafi-feel ko naman na malapit nang bumalik yung 100% ng memories mo. You know, like Taguro, isang daang porsyento ng lakas." tapos humalakhak siya.

Natawa na rin ako sa sinabi niya. I know she's cheering me up and I thank Naya's effort for that. "Nafi-feel ko din 'yun. Haay, sana talaga. By the way, nasaan si Eunkwang? I haven't seen him for a while. Anong ganap nun?"

"Sus, as if namang magsawa ang fiance mo e ang lakas ng tama nun sa'yo mula pa nung college tayo. You know what, Naya, I envy you with your relationship with Eunkwang."

"Ha? Bakit naman?"

Nailing ako, "Kasi you two look so carefree, na parang wala kayong problemang dalawa. You always fix whatever misunderstanding you had. Samantalang kami ni Brent, para kaming nasa isang labyrinth. We can't find the way to live the way we wanted."

"Lily, hindi naman laging pasko sa mag-asawa. Darating din sa point na magkaka-problema kayo, na magiging malungkot kayo, that you'll have misunderstandings-those are all normal to married couples. That means you're having a healthy relationship as husband and wife because you're functioning. Kung wala kayong shortcomings, that means wala kayong paki sa isa't isa. So don't worry about everything, you'll be fine. Sa nakikita ko naman, both of you are growing and getting matured together." she told me. Kunsabagay, may point din si Naya. I've seen Papa and Aunt Emilia being like that sometimes, so as my in-laws.

"Thank you talaga, bestie. I can't imagine my life without a crazy girl like you." nagkatawanan kami.

Nag-Mr Pogi sign siya, "Of course, you're crazy, too. Parehas tayong mga baliw."

"Kaya I've decided."

"Decided saan?"

"Don't wait for me, Naya. Go ahead and marry Eunkwang. You've waited a long time and I want you to be more happy." I seriously told her.

"Ha? Ano ba, Anneliese. Hihintayin pa nating gumaling ka 'di ba-"

Umiling ako at kinusot ang ulunan niya, "No. Just don't mind me. Hindi natin alam kung kailan ako eksaktong gagaling, malay mo next month o baka next year pa."

"E paano kung next week? O ngayon?"

"As if naman 'di ba? I'm still having therapies at saka sa tingin ko naman, okay na ako. Kaya ituloy niyo na ang kasal niyo. Nakakahiya naman sa mapapangasawa mo na ako ang cause of delay." of course, ayokong samantalahin ang pagiging magkaibigan namin. I want her dream to come true.
