I pushed Brent so hard upon realizing that he's really kissing me. I couldn't stop myself to slap him. Pakiramdam ko umakyat lahat ang frustrations at heartaches sa ulo ko. "How dare you!" The following day, nag-ayos na ako ng sarili ko dahil may business conference akong a-attend-an sa isang hotel sa Ortigas. Call time is at 9 am pero maaga akong umalis sa bahay para hindi naman ako gahulin o maaligaga pag pumunta ako doon. Ayokong maging center of attraction kapag na-late ako. Isa pa, malaking no-no 'yun sa mga kasama ko sa conference kasi lahat sila ay mga entrepreneurs, restaurateurs et cetera - bongga talaga - tapos ako magiging late e di nagmukha naman akong saling ketket nun 'di ba?
I hailed an Uber car instead of driving my own. Medyo hassle kasi at traffic sa Ortigas, maiirita lang ako pag ganun tapos mas magastos pa sa gas kaya okay nang mag-commute. I signed on the acknowledgement sheet on the front desk. I rode a lift going up to the 7th floor and registered my name there. Syempre medyo may mangilan-ngilan na akong kilala doon kasi umaattend din ako ng conference kaya feeling ko naman hindi ako mapapahiya dito, somewhat it gained me confidence at least.
