Thomas' PoV:

Kali ini, aku akan memberanikan diri untuk menceritakan kisah permulaan kedekatanku dengan Kissy hingga sampai sekarang bisa berstatus sebagai mantan kekasihku.

Beginilah kisahku mengenai dirinya:

*NOSTALGIA*

"Thomas! Look at all of your scores in each of the tests and assignments! All you got is in between the range of 30 and 60!" bentak wali kelasku bernama Mr Ewart, "You are very disappointing, Mr Sangster! I am neither of your parents, nor your guardian, but don't you know that I'm your academic advisor? That means I must keep your grades improving, not failing like this! Where's your spirit, Thomas?! Oh God, how can I bring your spirit up, anyway?" ujarnya tampak stres berat.

"Sir, I've said to you that I-"

"Enough, Thomas! I don't wanna listen any of your reasons," ia langsung memotong perkataanku, "You need a tutor, Thomas! I've decided to choose Ms Lockylove as your study partner, but I'm not gonna be the one asking for her help. It is you who must ask her directly!"

"W-WHAT?!" aku hampir saja menggebrak meja kerjanya karena terkejut atas pemberitahuannya tersebut, "I won't be doing it! Why do I have to do it? It's definitely the teacher's duty to ask their best student for tutoring the students that are failing, not the other way around! There's even a probability she's going to reject your plea, let alone if I do it myself, Sir," jelasku dengan tegas yang sangat tidak menyetujui idenya.

"End of the discussion, Mr Sangster," guruku itu bangkit dari kursinya dan meninggalkan diriku begitu saja.

Aku tak mau hal ini terjadi, sehingga aku menahannya dengan cukup tangkas sebelum ia mampu keluar dari kantor guru ini dan mau tak mau membujuknya dengan harapan bahwa kata-kataku dapat memengaruhi pikirannya. "Mr Ewart, I can promise you that my grades will get better! I can get good grades straight up, Sir. I don't need any tutor's help, especially her," ungkapku.

"Of course not, you can't even succeed that, Thomas. Do you want to bet with me, huh? Young man, you absolutely need a great tutor. Thus, you need her! Don't fool me with your empty promises! I will not change my mind," bicaranya teguh.
