''Ella, if your'e finished I want to have a word with you. Meet me in my room.'' Ella's mother said to her while the breakfast.
'Now what is that important thing that mother wants me to know.' Ella thought.
''I'll be there.'' Ella gave James and Aston questioning looks, which they returned with equal curiosity. Queen Miranda got up from her chair and motioned Ella to follow her. They reached her room which was almost completely dark because of the cloudy and rainy weather outside.
Queen Miranda took seat in a comfortable arm chair by the large window in her room, she didn't even bother to tell Ella to sit down. Ella just stood in front of her waiting for her to start the conversation but when the Queen said nothing, Ella spoke:
''What is it that you want to talk about mother?''
''Its something really important,'' Queen Miranda said seriously. Well smile is something you will never see on her face while talking to Ella.
''Well then, what is it?'' Ella asked again curiosity bubbling up inside her.
''I am allowing you to use your powers.'' she said without giving any expressions.
''Really?'' Ella's eyes widened with excitement. ''Like, really?'' Ella was now jumping with excitement. ''Thank you so much! I lov-'' Ella stopped in her tracks just realizing what she was saying. Love was something she never got from her mother, hugs and kisses are far off things she never even got two words of appreciation. Ella cleared her throat, stood straight and cleared her face of any expression and said: ''Well, thank you very much mother.''
''It is due to the present circumstances only, you know what is happening around you. You should learn to protect yourself.'' she said in grim tone.
''Yes mother I understand.'' Ella said nodding like an obedient child without asking questions.
''Now you may go. Don't take your free time as fun and enjoyment. Practice in every extra moment.''
''Yes mother. Um... mother, why are is Duke Peter and his son here?'' Ella asked before turning around to leave. He was the boy who warned her a few days ago, what was he doing here?''
''Your father and uncle have some politics and business to discuss with them.'' The Queen replied shortly, picking up the book from the table in front of her.
Ella bowed and left the room. She was only half way through the corridor when James and Aston turned the corner and came face to face with Ella.
''What did she say Ella?'' Aston asked the first question.
''Wow your'e smiling after talking to her? That never happened before.'' it was James' turn to comment.
''Don't worry brothers,'' she said slipping her arms in her brothers'. ''Nothing bad happened. I should say I never loved mother that much before.'' she said taking her brothers down in the royal hall.
''I think I should start to believe in miracles.'' Aston said.
''Ooooooh! I'm so happy right now!'' Ella said giving an excited laugh.
''Well what is it? Spill the beans already!'' James said getting impatient.
''She allowed me to use my powers!'' Ella said literally jumping now.
''That's really great!'' James exclaimed.
''You should start practicing right now. You have loads of stuff to learn.'' Aston advised.
''I know ! I know! I mean, how can such things happen in a single morning!'' she said joyfully.
''Oh shut up sister!'' James said and they left the palace from front doors towards the garden.
