Next morning Ella went to Thomas and asked him the time to meet Nate. He told her that they will leave in afternoon, the same place where the two of them used to meet. Ella started counting her breaths till afternoon.
Finally like waiting for eternity, Thomas knocked on Ella's door and told her that it was time to leave.
''I've informed our parents that we will be away for some time so that you can concentrate hard on your training.'' he informed her while crossing the front lawns to the place where they were to meet Nate.
''What if someone comes to look for us?'' Ella asked trying to keep up with Thomas' big steps.
''They won't, even if they do they won't see anything.'' he replied coolly.
Ella frowned at his response but quickly remembered the spell Nate did on her first training session to hide them from everyone, : ''Oh! I know what you mean! Nate did that spell on my first training session!''
''Yes that's what I'm talking about.'' he replied looking around to check if someone was watching.
They soon reached the place Nate had told Thomas about. They saw Nate standing by a tree looking deeply absorbed in his thoughts.
''Hey, what's got your attention?'' Ella asked reaching Nate.
He turned around and saw Ella and gave her his usual smile showing off his dimples, he looked over her shoulder and spotted Thomas and gave him a nod.
''I was thinking of nothing, just observing the environment.'' he replied to Ella's question.
''By the way did you get any information about the... incident.'' Ella said and shuddered at the thought of that horrible night.
''No, nothing till now.'' Nate shook his head in disappointment. ''But for now, you should concentrate on practicing. You need to build up a good defense against anything that comes your way, you understand me?'' he took hold of Ella's shoulders to make her understand the importance of his words.
Ella nodded ''I know, I've always been practicing in every extra moment. And you know what? I'm allowed to use my powers!'' Ella told Nate happily.
Nate chuckled on Ella's childish behavior. And then out of nowhere Thomas cleared his throat ''We were about to start her training...''
''Yes, now back to the topic in hands... Thomas has informed me,'' Nate said gesturing his hand at Thomas, ''that how much you have progressed and it is a very good thing that you can blow wind in a hot dry weather when there is no sign of natural wind.'' he said admiring Ella's progress.
''Now, as the people having wind as base are considered as the strongest. There is a reason behind it, wind can control anything.'' he said leading them deeper into the woods. ''You can be like them, the only thing you need to know is the main weaknesses of other bases.'' Now they were completely hidden in the woods with trees providing them shade from the cruel heat of the sun.
''And when I say main weakness it means they all have same weakness lying beneath the covers of their power.'' he lectured Ella as Thomas made a protective circle around them.
''Today you will learn about the weaknesses and after you have mastered that I will teach you to control their powers.'' he said and waited if Ella had to say anything but she only nodded in reply so he continued.
''First the base water, if you come face to face with an opponent of base water you will be lucky if there is no water around you, but if it is the other way round then you are not so lucky. I can't use water, earth or wind so I can't teach you practically, for that you will require the help of your brothers and cousins.''
