''Can you show me even a tiny bit of your power?'' he asked.
Ella put out her hand just like Nate had did to blaze the fire, but a small blow of wind erupted that was felt only a few inches away from Ella's hand.
''To be honest, you really are terrible at it.'' There was something about the boy that really amused Ella and she did not mind his words but simply said,
''I know, right.'' After sometime the boy spoke,
''You know, I can teach you how to control and use your powers.'' Nate said holding Ella's stretched hand but Ella did not try to escape from his grip but instead it felt comfortable.
''You can? I mean you really can?'' she said not believing his words.
''Yes I can, but you will have to promise me one thing.'' he said. After thinking for sometime Ella gave her reply.
''Anything, tell me to jump from highest peak and I will.'' Ella replied excitement filling in her now.
Nate chuckled at her respond and said ''Not that silly, just promise me that you won't tell anyone anything about this secret meeting or about me either. I think nothing good will happen if anyone comes to know about it.''
''I cross my heart I will die but not tell anyone, anything about you.'' Ella said happily ''You can trust me.''
''We both can trust each other.'' Nate replied with a dimple smile. ''Is there anyway you can contact me without anyone noticing?'' Nate asked Ella.
''Well, there is a friend of mine who sends me letters in the form of paper birds. Can you do that?'' Ella asked him.
''I think I can.'' Nate replied.
''ELLA! Where are you?!'' They heard a distant voice calling for Ella. She quickly turned to Nate who was still holding her hand.
He said ''You should go.''
''Promise me, that you will contact me'' she asked him hurriedly.
''Don't worry. I will send you a letter by tomorrow morning for your first lesson.'' he replied and quickly threw the hood over his head and vanished into the distant woods.
''Ella ran towards the source of voice. It was Eric.
''Where have you been? All the guests are gone and we've been looking for you for ages.''
He took Ella by her hand and led her towards the palace. Ella stopped in her tracks, Eric turned around, she looked at his hand clutching her wrist and raised her eyebrows at him. Eric awkwardly let go of her hand and they both walked towards the palace silently.
When they reached the doors he said to the guard standing by them ''Call the princes and guards back. We found her."
