PART 3:

''Hey! Look our parents are here.'' Amber suddenly pointed out. The four Kings and Queens walked towards the royal table and sat down. King Raymond stood up and said ''We hold this ball at my palace in honor of King Desmond his wife Queen Miranda and their three heirs Prince James, Prince Aston and Princess Ella. Heirs and heiress of Kingdom Asteria please come to the royal table''

They all moved towards where their parents were standing. When they reached the table people started whispering and muttering. Ella heard someone say ''She is just like her mother.'' That was odd because if they were talking about her, she was the complete opposite of her mother. Ella looked for the source of voice but never found it in the crowd of people. King Raymond raised a glass to them and everyone followed his action.

Then they sat at the table. Ella was sitting next to Eric. They laughed and talked about a lot of things through the feast. Ella came to know that Eric was not that quiet as she thought he would be.

After the feast music started playing. King Raymond and Queen Harriet lead the ball followed by King Desmond and Queen Miranda then came James with Amber, Thomas with Ella, Eric with Elizabeth and Aston with Jade.

They danced for a long time and then other people started joining the dance. A boy came over to Thomas and said ''If you don't mind your highness can I have Princess Ella for a moment?'' Thomas let go of Ella's hand and Ella and the other boy started dancing. They were so perfect in their moves as though they were molding in each others' step.

"I'm David, son of lord Peter, the highest minister of kingdom Regulus." The boy introduced himself.

"I'm Princess Ella of kingdom Asteria. It's nice to meet you."

"I know who you are." David replied. "And it's a pleasure to meet you too."

After a while Ella noticed that everyone had stopped dancing and were watching them with an awed expression. Somewhere in the crowd Ella saw Eric's face who seemed to be watching her partner without any expression visible on his face.

"You seem to be great at dancing, David." Ella remarked.

"Both the partners have to be equally experienced for a flawless performance, so you are as great as me." David said with a soft smile.

Finally the music stopped everyone started applauding, Ella bowed to her unknown partner who in return kissed her hand and whispered softly so that no one else would hear them,

"The time is not good, my lady. Be careful".

He then went on his way leaving the confused princess in the middle of the hall.
