"Who are you?" I heard him in my head, and not voiced through his lips as they were moving with mine.

"Alena," I whispered back in my mind and he broke our kiss looking at me, his eyes wide with surprise.

Argent kept looking at me with amusement portrayed in his wry smile as he very well knew we had shared the same memory once again. I knew it must be hilariously funny to him that I was this insecure, no good for anything girl in that memory which made him feel that much more manly and tough, which was why I right now lightly shoved him in the chest.

His hands found their usual place on my hips, making sure I was not going anywhere and pulled me even further into him to meet my lips once again.

"I like you coming home and greet me like this," he said, his eyes shining as we pulled apart again.

"Oh, better than arguing, huh? I don't know. I find that more entertaining to be honest. I mean the way your muscles tense whenever you're annoyed really is quite," I started teasing him only to have his lips smash against mine again before I even got to finish my sentence.

"Lucas—" I tried to pull away, but he hungrily claimed my mouth again, my body being flushed up against him unable to move.

"I need this. I've needed this all day after seeing these... things,"  his voice spoke in my head, as he insisted on not letting any of us breathe. My arms went around his neck, and his fingers dug into my waist as to underline his words.

"I know, babe, but I have something to show you," I replied the same way as I could not turn my head, denying him this tiny piece of heaven, however for some reason he pulled away just as I finished the sentence.

"What?" I breathed, feeling my lips swollen by the passionate kiss and his eyes were these tantalizing blue swirls I could not keep myself from drowning in.

"You called me babe," His signature smirk immediately protruded on his lips while his brow quirked upwards and I felt my cheeks redden possibly matching my red lips.

"So what are you to show me?" he drawled with a rough voice while his eyes traveled over my body and I hit him in the chest, finally managing to wriggle out of his grasp. He chuckled as I stuck my tongue out at him before going over to my backpack which Argent had thrown carelessly onto the couch before in lack of other words attacking me the minute I got through the door.

"If it's something serious, you should probably stop strutting your ass like that," he commented from behind me, his voice rough and deep. I quickly shot him a glare, watching as he eyed me while rubbing the back of his head with a boyish grin on his face.

"You're impossible," I responded before unzipping my bag to pull out the book Alpha Chris had given me. As I straightened up again, I felt Argent's presence right behind me and rightly so as his lips moved to place a gentle kiss to my shoulder.
