Clarke's POV

I woke up to someone knocking at my door. I assumed it was the guard waking me up for breakfast.

"I'll be right out!" I yelled back as I got out of bed to get dressed.

The guard lead me into the dinning room for breakfast.

"Heda will be right with you, Wanheda." he said quietly.

"Thank you." I replied as I took a seat at the table.

5 minutes later, Lexa walks into the room and sits across from me.

"Sorry to have you waiting, Titus was telling me how much the Natblidas missed me, I told them I would go see them tomorrow. You can come if you'd like." she said to me as she filled her plate with food.

"I'd love to go see them with you. Do you have any plans for today?" I asked.

"I was thinking I could show you around the city if you would like."

"Sure, I would really enjoy exploring the city with you." I replied with a smile.

"We can go after we finish eating. In the mean time we can talk about whatever it is you would like."

I had to ask her why she left me there. I needed an explanation for what she did. She hurt me when she left.

"Well, I want to know why you left me at Mount Weather to save my own people alone. It really hurt me Lexa. I trusted you."

"My intentions weren't to hurt you and I am sorry for doing that. I thought I was doing what was right for my people, but then later realized you were my people to. I had a truce with Skaikru and I abandoned it for my own people. I wish I could go back and change what I did." she said in response. I could tell that her response was genuine.

"It's okay. I understand why you did what you did. I forgive you and I trust that you will never leave me again." I replied.

"Thank you Clarke. I vowed to never leave you again ad I stand by it." she responded

We finished eating our food and she lead me outside of the tower and into the city. It was nice to be able to actually be able to experience the city of Polis. I was excited to be able to see and meet new people. Lexa's hand would brush against mine once in a while when we were heading towards the markets and something told me that it wasn't an accident. When she brushed her hand against mine one more time, I grabbed her hand and smirked. She smiled and lead me to a stand that was serving food. Lexa looked at me.

"Would you like some food?" she asked.

"Not too much considering we just ate" I replied.

She nodded.

"One piece, beja. (please)" she said to the man at the stand.

"Hir, Heda.(here, commander)" he replied.

"Mochof.(Thanks)" she replied.

She handed me the plate which held the piece of meat and smiled.

"Thanks, Lexa" I smiled back.
