Lexa's POV

After a few weeks of staying in Polis and dealing with everything going on there, I decided it was time for a break and go back to TonDc to see how things are going there. After a few days of being there, we could go to Arkadia to visit Clarke's friends and her mom if she desires to do so. Clarke enters the throne room and walks towards me.

"Are we doing anything today?" she asked.

"I was thinking we could take a break from Polis and go visit TonDC and Arkadia. We would pack today and leave at first light, if you agree." I answer.

She smiles and nods.

"I'll go pack right now so I don't not have to later."

"I'm coming with you to pack, Clarke. I'll meet you in the room, I just have to pick something up before I can pack."

"Okay, I'll see you later." she smiles and exits the room.

Ever since Clarke and I have been training, I noticed that she is very good at hand to hand combat and sword combat, so I decided to have a sword made for her by my best blacksmith here in Polis. I hope she likes it, because it took a while to explain how I wanted it made. I wanted it to look perfect, but also very durable. I requested that he add a blue sapphire on the handle that matches the colour of her eyes.

I went into the city alone, with a hood over my head to avoid someone recognizing me and walked in the direction to pick up the sword for my girlfriend as a present. When I get there, the blacksmith immediately recognizes me and hands me the sword and a sheath for it he had laying around. I give him a smile.

"Mochof gon doing disha gon ai. (Thank you for doing this for me)." I say quietly as I give him his payment.

"Pro, Heda. (You're welcome, Commander)" he replied.

I make my way back to the bedroom so that I can pack for our trip to TonDC and Arkadia. I walk into the room and notice a bag on the bed and I notice the blonde is asleep on the couch. I smile and laugh to my self. I put the sword on the bed next to her bag and I start to pack my own bag. Once I finish packing my clothes in the bag, I hear movements behind me and I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and a head rest on my shoulder. I turn around to face the person.

"Did you have a nice nap, Clarke?" I ask while smirking.

"Yes, I did." she responds.

"Are you done packing yet?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure, I think you missed something." I say.

She looks at me confused and lets go of me to look at her bag and she notices the sword in its sheath and she looks back at me.

"Is that for me?" she asks excitedly.

"Of course it is, Clarke."

She smiles me and pulls out the sword. She looks at the sword in awe and smiles. She puts it back on the bed and walks towards me.

"Thank you so much. I love it!" she says.

"More than you love me?"

"Maybe." she joked.

She looks up at me and kisses me. I kiss her back and we rest our foreheads against one another.

"I love you so much, Clarke kom Skaikru." I smile.

"I love you too, Lexa kom Trikru." she says back.
