Octavia's POV
They'll be here by the end of the day today. I need to talk to Bellamy today since I refused to see him ever since he shot Murphy. I highly doubt that the council will go easy on him for this crime. He is my brother and I would hate it if he were to die, but he betrayed us. I don't know how Clarke reacted to the news, but I don't think she'll want to talk to Bellamy. Not alone anyways. Barely anyone has talked to Bellamy ever since the incident.
"Are you going to talk to him today?" Lincoln asked me once we were both awake.
"I need to talk to him before the others get here tonight." I answer.
"Would you like me to come with you?"
"Yes, but I just want to be around the corner and listen in case I get too angry at him."
"Okay, I will." he replied.
We get out of our bed and we eat breakfast together outside. Raven and Luna come and find us near the fire.
"Are you going to talk to him today?" Raven asked me.
"I don't have a choice. I'll be going soon."
"Do you need me to come?"
"No, I need to do this alone. Lincoln will be nearby in case I get too angry at him."
"Okay, good luck Octavia."
"Thanks, Raven."
Lincoln and I get up to go to the cell. Before I turn the corner to face him, I give Lincoln a quick kiss.
"I shouldn't be long." I whisper in his ear before turning the corner.
Bellamy is sleeping on the bench, he looks horrible. I can tell that he hasn't slept for more than a few hours at a time. This must be killing him on the inside.
"Bellamy wake up." I say loud enough for him to hear me.
He stirs in his sleep and ends up falling off the bench. He opens his eyes and he sees me.
"Are they here yet?" he says quietly.
"They get here tonight, your trial is tomorrow. I just wanted to talk to you before anyone else does."
"Kane talked to me a week ago, he told me that he was disappointed in me."
"We're all disappointed in you. Raven talked to Clarke over the radio."
"What did Clarke say?"
"Nothing. It's like she doesn't want to see you again. She trusted you, Bell. We all trusted you."
"I'm sorry."
"You don't get to say that. You almost killed Murphy."
"He deserves it."
"No he doesn't! When we first got here, he was a dick but so were you. Murphy changed, Bellamy. Apparently you did too."
"Just go, Octavia. I don't deserve to be alive anymore."
"You're still my brother Bellamy. I'll miss you if you do get killed."
"I love you." he says before laying back down on the bench.
"I love you too, big brother." I say quietly.
I leave and Lincoln gives me a hug.
"It'll be okay, Octavia."
"I hope so. He doesn't deserve to be free, he's dangerous."
"I'm sorry he turned out this way."
"It's not your fault, Lincoln."
"I know, but I'm still sorry."
"I love you."
"I love you too." he replied.
We go outside and we train together for a couple hours. Eventually, we lose track of time and before we realize, it's getting dark out.
"Open the gate! They're here!" I hear a guard yell out.
The horses enter before the vehicle does. Abby is driving the car and has the some Skaikru people inside of it and the remaining are all on horses. Clarke and Lexa see me and get off their horses and come and greet me. I know Clarke is upset about Bellamy.
"Did he tell you why?" she asked me.
"I barely talked to him. I couldn't talk to him."
"I understand."
Clarke and Lexa leave to go to bed since they're exhausted from the trip. Murphy and Emori come out of the vehicle and see me.
"Thank you for stopping him." Emori says to me.
"No problem, I knew he hated Murphy but I didn't think he would try to kill him."
"Well, Bellamy's a dick." Murphy said.
"Agreed." I say.
We spend a few hours talking and eventually we all head to bed.
"Goodnight Octavia."
"Goodnight Lincoln.
