Chapter 22 - Swimming lessons

Raven's POV

I put my projects on hold because today, Luna will be taking me on a date. I'm so excited. She's incredibly hot and she's such a caring person, I have a huge crush on her. My favourite thing about her is how she's good at calming me down, which happens often, considering I do get frustrated often. I pack my bag and grab a radio and two knives, just in case. I walk out of my room and I go to the spot where Luna and I agreed to meet. I get there first and I take out the radio to mess around with while I wait.

After a few minutes I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waste and a head rest on my shoulder. I turn my head and I see Luna's smile.

"You ready to go, Raven?" she asks.

"I'm always ready." I smirk.

She kisses my cheek and takes her arms off my waist and reaches for my hand, to which I happily let her hold. I look at her and I smile. We walk towards the gate and they open it for us. We walk away from camp and I turn to Luna.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"It's a surprise raven, you'll like it, I promise." she responds.

"Fine." I pout.

She looks at me and I smile. I suck and acting like I'm angry at her. I give her a quick kiss and we continue to walk. After a few minutes, we stop at a stream. She looks at me and smiles.

"Do you know how to swim?" she asks

"Of course not, there wasn't enough water in space to swim in it. We barely had enough water to shower with."

"Right, I forgot water was very valuable in space."

"I'll let you teach me, if you'd like." I suggest.

"Sure, take your brace and clothes off."

"Are you sure you didn't just bring me here to make out with me?"

"Maybe that was one of my ideas, but I want to teach you how to swim first."

We both take of our clothes and we're left in our under garments. I take off my brace and I look back up at Luna. Holy shit she's beautiful.

"You're staring, Raven." she says with a smirk.

"Of course I'm staring, you're hot as fuck." I reply.

"I wouldn't be talking. Let's get in the water." she helps me walk into the water.

She goes ahead of me so she can show me what to do. She shows me how to tread water, which basically means how to stay in one place and not drown. I get the hang of it after a few tries, but it's hard with only one functioning leg. Once Luna's satisfied that I won't drown while I'm treading water, she teaches me how to move in the water. She shows me how to swim forwards, which I find pretty easy and I get the hand of it easily. After she's happy with my improvements, she shows me how to swim on my back. I have a harder time doing so, since it takes more effort with your legs than your arms to properly do it, but I get the hang of it eventually.

"Guess I won't be swimming on my back often." I joke

"Considering you're a mechanic, I don't think you'll be in the water too often anyways. But swimming is one of the best ways to cool of when it's hot out." she says.

She gets out of the water and she put a blanket on the ground and comes back in the water.

"Why'd you put a blanket on the ground?" I ask.

"So that I can do this." she responds quietly in my ear.

She picks me up and I wrap my legs around her and I cupped my hands around her face and I kissed her hard. She kissed me back while carrying my to where she had placed the blanket. She placed me down gently onto the blanket and she kissed me passionately and everything escalated from there. After a few rounds, we decided to take a nap. I rested my head on her chest and quickly fell asleep on her.
