Lexa's POV

Ever since Clarke and I were told that Bellamy was the one who shot Murphy, she's been upset. I've been trying to tell her that I'm here for her but she still keeps to herself. Seeing her like this makes me upset. I know he's like a brother to her, but I can't help but feel a little jealous about how much she cares about him. I've been checking up on Murphy and Emori and I kinda ship them. I usually find Emori laying her head on his chest asleep. I haven't heard a lot of good things about him, but I can't judge him if I haven't properly met him. For all I know he's had a horrible life and he acted selfish because he didn't care about anyone else. Today, Clarke and I are in the throne room together. It's silent because Clarke is thinking about Bellamy, as she usually is.

"Clarke, thinking about him isn't going to help you."

"You don't understand Lexa. I thought he changed. I thought he was better than that. I'm not thinking about him because I don't want him locked up. I'm thinking about him because I used to look up to him. I trusted him and so did everyone else in Arkadia. I'm disappointed in him. I keep thinking about him, trying to process what he did."

"I'm sorry, Clarke. I know it must be hard on you."

"You aren't jealous, are you Lexa?"

"Not anymore."

"You know I'm completely in love with you, right? Nothing will ever take me away from you."

"I'm in love with you too, Clarke." I smile at her.

Clarke walks towards me and sits on my lap and wraps her arms around my neck. She looks at me and smiles before she kisses me. I kiss her back passionately as she pulls me closer. We make out for about 20 minutes before there's a knock at the door. We separate and fix our hair.

"Come in." I say.

Emori walks in with Abby.

"Murphy's awake, he needs a week or two to fully recover. He'll be staying here in Polis until Bellamy's trial. Raven radioed us to let us know that the trial will take place as soon as Murphy returns to Arkadia." Abby said.

"You have a radio?" Clarke asked.

"Kane gave me his before he left, to update us on what's happening."

"Raven gave me a radio why didn't she just tell me?"

"She knows how much he means to you, she didn't want to be the one to inform you of this."

"He meant a lot to me, but he betrayed me. I trusted him, mom. I don't know if I can see his face anymore."

"I'll be there with you Clarke, I always will be." I say to her.

"Thank you, Lexa."

"Should I tell Raven to radio you?" Abby asked.

"Yeah, I want to talk to her." Clarke says.

"Alright, I'm going back to check up on the patients. You know where to find me." she says before she leaves.

"Are you going back with her?" I ask Emori.

"I just want to talk about the situation." she answers.

"Go ahead, Clarke can explain it better than I can."

"How does a trial work exactly?"

"We will have a meeting with the council in Arkadia discussing the events. You will be there as a witness. If we need to, we will gather other witnesses such as Raven and Luna. Bellamy will defend himself, but I don't think he can really defend himself in this situation. At the end of the meeting, there will be a vote. Either Bellamy gets locked up or he gets killed." Clarke says.

"Isn't there another solution?" I ask her.

"I highly doubt we can banish him from Arkadia. He's dangerous now. I don't want him to become a threat to other clans." Clarke says.

"I wouldn't want him to be free. He shot the man I love three times." Emori says.

"You're right. What would you prefer to happen to him?" I ask.

"He tried to kill John. I don't think I could sleep knowing he's still alive. I want him dead, sorry Clarke." she says.

"I understand that Emori, I never want to see him again honestly." Clarke says.

"I better go see John, he must be wondering where I went. Feel free to come and see us in the hospital wing when you both have time." she says.

"We will, see you around." Clarke says.

She leaves and Clarke looks at me.

"What do we do when the trial arrives?" she asks.

"What do you mean?"

"Who will stay here and make the decisions?"

"The ambassadors will make the decisions, which means we should have a Skaikru ambassador here for while we're gone."

"I don't think we'll find someone to come here, Lexa. Everyone that can be ambassador will be at the trial."

"Good point, I trust that the other clan ambassadors will make smart decisions involving Skaikru."

"So do I, the other clans have shown that they like Skaikru as a clan. They might be a little intimidated by our technology, but they're getting used to it." Clarke says.

"We should teach a couple people from different clans how it works, it will be good for all of the clans."

"That's a really good idea, we will discuss this at the next meeting before we leave for the trial."

"Sounds like a good idea, Clarke." I say.

She smiles at me and gives me a kiss on the cheek.

"I have another good idea." she says with a smirk.

"What is it?"

"It involves you and me in a bed."

"Then let's get to it, Clarke." I say in a whisper.

She grabs my hand and leads us up the stairs and into our room.
