Clarke's POV

As soon as we get settled into our seats, the ambassadors start walking in and taking their seats. Once everyone is seated and ready to begin, Lexa starts talking.

"Has anything happened since we were gone?" she asked.

"Only one major event." Roan answered.

"What is it?"

"Our Natblida is ready to start training with the rest. She has passed several tests to determine whether or not she is stable enough to come to Polis to meet you. Would you like to meet her?"

"Yes, I will go later in the day with Clarke and we can make sure she is ready. Has anything else happened?"

"Nothing urgent, Heda. We caught a group of people stealing from travellers, but that was taken care of." Indra replied.

"What clan?" I ask.

"Azgeda." she replied.

"If everything has been dealt with, you are all dismissed and may go back to attending your other duties." Lexa said.

All the ambassadors bow before Lexa and I before exiting the room. After a few minutes, the room cleared out and only Lexa and I remained.

"Shall we go see Ontari?" she asks me.

"Yes, I'm excited to meet her." I respond as I take Lexa's hand in mine.

We exit the tower and make way to the training grounds to see the Natblidas. As soon as we arrive, the Natblidas come running towards us. We greet all of them and notice we haven't seen Ontari.

"Were's Ontari?" I ask.

"She's in her room, she was told to stay there until both of you came to get her, so you better go." Aden responds.

"We'll be back later, keep training." Lexa says to them.

We head to the rooms where the Natblidas sleep. We ask the guards which one is Ontari's and one of the directs us to her door. The guard leaves and we knock on the door to warn her that we're here. We wait a few seconds and the door is opened by a girl barely younger than both Lexa and I.

"Can we come in?" I ask her softly.

She nods and opens the door fully so that Lexa and I can walk into the room.

"What's your name?" I ask.

"Ontari." she answers calmly.

"Would you like to join the others and train with us?" I ask.

"They hate me."

"They can't hate you, you haven't done anything wrong."

"They hate me because I'm Azgeda and they hated the Queen."

"I'm sure you're nothing like the Queen." I answer quietly.

"I was taught to be like her. I was taught that killing without reason was okay. I'm sorry, I'm really trying to change the way I think about things but when you get kidnapped at a young age and your identity is kept a secret, you kind of go insane."

"What she did was horrible. I couldn't imagine that happening to me." Lexa said.

"I wanted to thank you for liberating me from her, Heda. She was all I really had, but she was abusive and I realized that as soon as I met Roan. He treated me like a normal person and I'm glad that he did."

"That's why he's one of the most trusted members in the coalition, he's so generous." Lexa says.

"Can we go train now, I want to fight you, Heda." Ontari says.

"Challenge accepted." Lexa replies.

We exit her room and we go meet the Natblidas and they gather around us once again.

"This is Ontari kom Azgeda. She will be fighting our Commander." I say.

They all run to a place to watch the fight while I retrieve two fighting sticks. I give one to Ontari and walk over to Lexa to give her hers. Before I leave, she gives me a quick kiss and turns her attention to Ontari. I love how serious she gets when she's challenged to a fight.
