Lexa's POV
After I gave Clarke a kiss, I get ready in my fighting stance. I stare Ontari down until we're walking in circles waiting for one of us to attack first. It seems as though I am more patient because Ontari attacks first and I easily dodge her attack. She turns around and charges at me again and I dodge it and manage to knock her down with my stick as I do so. She recovers quickly and walks towards me. She swings her stick and I dodge her first attack and block her second attack with my stick. I take a swing at her and she blocks it easily and I spin around with the stick to attack her a second time and I manage to hit her leg and knock her off balance. I take advantage of the fact that she's balancing herself and I charge at her with an attack but I fail as she blocks it and retaliates with her own attack and manages to knock the stick out of my hands and hit me in the nose. I take a step back and I feel blood dripping down my nose and I see Clarke rush to me with a cloth. The Natblidas follow her and they congratulate Ontari on knocking the stick out of my grip and winning the fight. Clarke gives me the cloth and give me a kiss on the cheek.
"She's stronger than I thought. The Queen must've spent a lot of time training her." Clarke says.
"I wouldn't be surprised if that was the Queen's priority. Nobody as been able to knock out a stick out of my hands, let alone hit me and give me a bloody nose." I reply.
"That was impressive, but let me make sure it isn't broken." Clarke replies.
"You can check later when we're done here." I reply.
"Is that really a good idea just to prove that you're the big and tough Commander?"
"I suppose not, you can check it, but make it quick."
She checks my nose for a few seconds and after she's satisfied she gives me a kiss on my nose and takes my hand. After the Natblidas are done congratulating Ontari, they all come running towards us.
"Ontari, that was a great fight, congratulations." I say to her.
"Thank you, Heda." she responds.
"That was such an amazing fight! Can you train with me Ontari?" Aden asked.
"If you can keep up." she responds.
"I bet I can, Heda says I'm a great fighter." he says.
"I'm very impressed with the both of you. You can go and train together now, Clarke and I have to go now." I say.
"Bye Heda! Bye Clarke." all of Natblidas say together, including Ontari.
"Bye guys." Clarke says.
I take Clarke's hand and we head towards the tower to update the ambassadors. By the time we get there, my nose has stopped bleeding and Clarke insists we go wash the dried blood from my lip. Once we're finished cleaning up the blood, we head to the throne room. We tell the guards that we want to see the ambassadors immediately. I sit down in my chair while Clarke stands next to me.
"I forgot to tell you this, but Raven gave me enough radios for each of the clans, shall I go get them to give to the ambassadors?" Clarke asks.
"Yes, we'll have to teach them how they work before we have them given to the clan leaders." I reply.
"Okay, don't start without me." she says as she exits the room.
