Chapter 18 - Hot grounder

Raven's POV

I saw Nyko carry a girl to medical which I was curious about considering he's a healer and I would assume that he knows what to do to help her. I told myself I would go see what's up after I finish working on these radios. After 5 hours of constant working, I decided I should take a break and go eat. I look in medical and see the girl sitting on the bed. Damn she's pretty fucking hot. I walk in and I stop beside her.

"You hungry?" I ask.

She looks at me and smiles.

"Yeah, I'd really like some food, I haven't eaten much in the passed few days." she answers.

"I'll be back with a plate of food for you. I'll stay and eat with you if you'd like." I smile at her.

"That would be nice, thank you."

"The name's Raven. Raven Reyes."

"Mine's Luna." she holds out her arm and I grasp her forearm to show my respect towards her.

I leave and grab two plates of food and make my way back to medical and I run into Lexa.

"Why the two plates?" she asks me

"One for me and one for Luna." I answer.

"Finally going to get a hot grounder girlfriend?" she teases.

"Oh shut up, go make out with Clarke or something." I tease back.

She blushes and laughs.

"I'll see you around Raven." she walks away.

I get back to medical and I give her a plate of food and she smiles.

"Mochof, Raven." she says.

"Pro (you're welcome)." I answer back.

"I didn't know you spoke Trigedasleng."

"I only know a few words. When groups of grounders come here from TonDC to help us out, I hear them talk to each other and I picked up on your language I guess." I shrug.

"What do you do here?" she asks

"I'm a mechanic and an absolute genius here. Back on the Ark I was the youngest Zero-G mechanic." I say cockily.

"What's the Ark?" she asks

"You aren't from around here are you?"

"Nope, I was supposed to become Heda, but fled from my conclave. Lexa became Heda and I became the leader of Floukru. Usually Nightbloods are killed when they run away from their conclave, but Lexa made sure they didn't go after me."

"I'm kind of glad they didn't kill you, you're fucking hot." I say honestly.

She blushes and smiles shyly at me.

"Not as hot as you, but you should tell me what the Ark is before we continue." she says

I nod and I spend a few minutes describing what the Ark looked like and what I did up there. She had questions about space and I answered them as best as I could. She wanted to hear stories about the Ark. I told her how Finn got arrested for an illegal spacewalk on my birthday. She tells me that she heard about his death and that she's sorry, but I tell her that he cheated on me so I didn't care too much, even though he was all I had left. After I tell her about Finn, I tell her about my family and how it sucked growing up with an alcoholic mother. Telling her all these things made me happy, she seemed to really care about me and wanted to know more about me. Eventually, I asked her questions about herself. She told me stories about her and Lexa when they were training and all the pranks they would pull on Titus. She tells me how Titus wasn't the nicest guy around but she respected him either way. Eventually she passes out and I take our plates back and I go back to medical and I sit next to her. I eventually fall asleep next to her. The last thing I saw was Abby smirking at me before I fell asleep next to someone I knew I was falling for and there was no way out of it.
