Lexa's POV
After I push the blade through his heart, the crows leaves and goes back to what they were doing. I step back and put my sword back into it's sheath while to guards untie Bellamy's corpse from the pole. When they manage to untie him, they tie him to a bunch of logs. Kane looks at me and nods at the body to dismiss the guards.
"We're going to burn his body tonight when it's dark out." he says.
"I'll tell the others. Thanks Marcus." I reply.
"You're welcome, Commander." he says.
I nod and I walk back to Clarke and our friends.
"The body will be burned when it gets dark, that way it'll be burned by morning." I say.
They all nod.
"It's crazy that someone you trusted and cared about ends up almost killing someone" Octavia said.
"Agreed." Everyone else said except Emori and Luna.
"He seemed like a nice guy." Luna added.
"Until he shot my boyfriend." Emori said.
"Okay, let's change the topic and think about something else." Clarke says.
We all nod in agreement and start talking about whatever topic Raven decides to bring up. If you were watching from outside the group, you wouldn't be able to tell that one of the people most of us trusted and cared about was just killed. Perhaps the fact that he almost killed one of us helped with that, but he was a nice guy honestly. We ate together at the table near the fire and talked more about any topic that came to mind. We lost track of time and before we know it, it's dark out and we see Kane near the logs and the body. We stand up and make our way towards Kane.
"Who lights the body and logs on fire?" Clarke asks.
"Murphy should, but anyone can." I reply.
"I don't want to." Murphy says.
"Okay, any volunteers?" Clarke asks.
"My brother, my responsibility." Octavia responds as she takes the torch Kane just lit.
We all stand around the logs and wait for Octavia to light the fire.
"You know, you're a dick and all but you were nice when you wanted to be." Octavia said.
She put to torch closer to the logs.
"Yu gonplei ste odon." she whispers as she lights the fire.
We throws the torch into the fire and stands back. Lincoln puts his arms around her and hugs her and kisses her forehead. Clarke pulls me into a hug and buries her head into my chest.
"Thank you for being here." she whispers.
"Anything for you, Clarke." I reply.
She kisses me and puts her head back into my chest as I keep my arms wrapped around her. We stand there looking at the fire for about two hours before people start leaving. I can tell Clarke is asleep in my arms by her breathing pattern, so I pick her up bridal style and carry her to our room. I lay her down on the bed and take her clothes off before getting undressed my self. I get in the bed beside her and give her a kiss on her forehead before falling asleep.
