Chapter 43 - Names and clans

Clarke's POV

I run to our room and I grab the bag full of radios that Raven handed me before we left Arkadia. I run back to the room and I enter before the last few ambassadors have arrived. I take my place next to Lexa and I wait patiently next to her. The last few ambassadors walk in after a couple minutes and Lexa stands up and everyone goes quiet.

"I apologize for this impromptu meeting. We've seen Ontari and witnessed her fight. She's stable enough to continue training with the other Natblidas and she is the strongest of them all." Lexa says.

"Is there anything else?" Roan asked.

"Yes, Raven kom Skaikru has made radios for all 13 clans. Clarke has them in this bag and will demonstrate how to use them." she replied.

I grab the bag and I distribute the radios to the ambassadors. After I finish giving the radios out, I go back to Lexa's side. I take my radio out and I hold it in front of me.

"When you want to communicate with Arkadia, you turn this to the channel 10 and you state your name and your clan. I'll show you." I say.

I turn to the channel 10.

"Once you're done that, you push this button and then state you name and clan."

I push the button and I hear static.

"This is Klark kom Skairkru, please answer." I say.

"Raven Reyes, at your service Griffin." Raven replies.

"We gave out the radios, can we test them all out?"

"Sure, one at a time. Have you show them how to use them?"

"Yes, we'll start with Trikru first."

"Talk to you later Griffin."

The radio goes silent.

"You can go first Indra." Lexa says to her.

"This is Indra kom Trikru, please answer." Indra says into the radio.

"Hey Indra, Raven kom Skaikru here. Who's next?"

"Azgeda is next." Indra responds.

"Talk to you later, Indra."

Indra puts the radio down and shuts it off. Roan takes his radio and presses the button.

"This is Roan kom Azgeda."

"Roan, I've heard a lot about you. This is Raven."

"Hello Raven."

"Who's next?"

"Floukru."

Roan shuts his radio off. The Floukru ambassador takes his radio and presses the button.

"This is Meizi kom Floukru."

"This is Raven, have a good day Meizi kom Floukru."

"You too."

Meizi shuts off her radio. This continues for the next few minutes. Raven meets all the ambassadors from each clan. There's Baylis kom Sankru, Uzac from Yujleda, Tristan from Boudalan, Rafel from Trishanakru, Guara from Podakru, Atohl from Ouskajon Kru, Seiku from Delphikru, Gael from Ingranronakru and Rivo from Louwoda Kliron. They all met Raven over the radio and they all seemed to like her. We end the meeting and all the ambassadors leave the room with their radios. We told them to give them to their clan leaders as soon as possible and teach them how it works.

"It's getting late, we should probably go eat and then go to bed." Lexa said.

"We can do something before bed." I reply with a smirk.

"Sounds like a pretty good idea to me."
