Luna's POV
This Raven girl is amazing, she's funny but serious, she's hardworking but likes to mess around and she cares about what I have to say. I know I've already fallen for her, I just hope she's there to catch me when I land. Raven comes into medical with her technology and shows me how it works, she's taught me a lot of things I didn't know. She let me have a radio so that I can still talk to her when she's in her lab working. When she takes a break from her projects, she gets us food and sits next to me and we talk for hours. We smile and we laugh together. This reminds me of the time before I had to leave for Polis and train for the conclave. I was happy then and I'm happy now.
"Luna, you can leave medical now, you're recovery was faster than I had anticipated." Abby said to me to snap me out of my thoughts.
"Thanks Abby, can you take me to Raven?" I ask.
"I'm busy right now, but I can get someone to take you, hold on." she exits to room.
Minutes later she comes back with a guy that I saw around a few times while I was in here.
"Here's Monty, he'll take you to Raven." she says.
"Thank you." I say
Monty leads me to into the hallway and he looks at me.
"I see the way you look at her, Luna." he says.
"How do I look at her?"
"Like she's all that matters to you. She makes you smile, she makes sure you aren't alone and she talks to you for hours. Raven has been through so much shit and you know that. Please take care of her, for me. She's done so much for me." he replies.
"I promise I will take care of her. I will treat her the way she deserves to be treated."
"Thank you. I also see the way she looks at you. You make her happy and cared for. I totally ship you guys, by the way."
"Thank you Monty." I say as I blush.
We continue walking in silence until we're 5 feet away from a metal door. He looks at me and smiles.
"She's in there. I'll see you around, Luna." he turns around and he leaves.
I open the door quietly and I immediately hear someone screaming and throwing things around. I rush to the source of the sound and I see Raven knock a table over with tears coming down her face. I grab her and I pull her to the ground with her on my lap.
"It's okay Raven, it's okay." I whisper to her.
"It's not okay. I'm a failure, I can't make a new radio. I'm useless." she says loudly as she cries.
"Breathe, Raven, breathe."
She keeps yelling and crying.
"I don't know why I keep trying, I can't even make a radio." she sobs.
"Ai giv ai op, gon nemiyon, kom lanik-de. (I give myself, to the miracle, of the sea)" I say slowly as Raven calms down a little bit.
"Say it Raven. Ai giv ai op."
"Ai give ai op" she repeats slowly.
"Gon nemiyon."
"Gon nemiyon." she says as her tears stop coming down her face.
"Kom lanik-de." I finish.
"Kom lanik-de." she repeats.
"I know the darkness, Raven. Because of the colour of my blood, I was raised to be a killer. The Flamekeepers harnessed my rage and taught me to it was nobility. For years, I reveled in death and violence. I killed my own brother. So trust me when I tell you, if I found peace within myself, so can you." I say camly.
Raven looks at me in the eyes and gives me a slight smile.
"Thank you, Luna." she said quietly.
She wrapped her arms around my neck and I see her eyes flicker down to my lips. I could feel my heart beating rapidly. I could hear her heart beat rapidly as well. She leaned in and crashed her lips against mine. I immediately kiss her back. We both pull away and we look into each others eyes.
"Can I take you out on a date?" I ask her desperately.
"Of course you can." she smiles and kisses me.
