Clarke's POV

We've been in TonDc for a couple weeks, I really like this village. It's close to my friends and my mom in Arkadia, which makes it easier on me, knowing they aren't far away from me while I'm here. Lexa has been helping warriors train, she goes out to hunt as well and she also comes and helps Nyko and I in the Healer's tent. She makes a decent healer, but she's a better warrior than a healer. Luna and Raven come here every few days to help around here. Raven works on her projects in a tent while Luna helps around the village with anything they need help with. I have to admit that Raven and Luna are great for each other. I like how Luna is very good at calming Raven down and Raven teachers her about technology and allows Luna to help her sometimes. I know it won't always be like this, Lexa's the Commander and she's bound to be asked for in Polis. I am the Skaikru ambassador, I'll be called to go as well eventually.

After dinner, Lexa and I walk back to our tent. We aren't tired yet, so we just talk about our days and whatever else there is to talk about. Indra walks into our tent and looks at both of us.

"Heda and Clarke, your presence has been required in Polis. There is a meeting in a week. We leave at first light tomorrow morning. We will have your horses ready and guards will be waiting." she says to us.

"What is this meeting about, Indra?" Lexa asks.

"It's a meeting to discuss what we do next, I suppose. Titus requested this meeting, I don't know if he has any bad intentions."

"He probably wants to talk about Clarke and I. He doesn't think I should be dating her. He will try to get the other ambassadors to agree with him and have Clarke either killed or imprisoned."

"I have a feeling that you are correct, Heda."

"He can't just do that, can he?" I ask.

"As the Flamekeeper, he can. Indra, send someone to deliver a message to Titus. The message is, he needs to find an apprentice. We cannot have only one Flamekeeper, something could happen to him." Lexa responds.

"Sha, Heda." Indra exits the tent.

"Who would want to be his apprentice?" I ask.

"I have no idea, but we need a new Flamekeeper. Titus should not be the only one. The only reason he is still alive is because he is the only Flamekeeper left." she chuckles.

"I could be his apprentice." I suggest.

"That would be a good idea, but who will become the Skaikru ambassador?"

"Kane would agree to becoming the ambassador. Maybe even my mom would as well."

"Clarke, your mom is a doctor, she can't just leave Arkadia and stay in Polis."

"I know, I told her she should train some people so that they can help Jackson with taking care of the people in Arkadia. It wouldn't be a bad idea for my mom to go to Polis, considering she is the best healer out of all 13 clans."

"Very well, we could ask both of them to come to Polis. We could have a place specifically for you mom so that she could help people. I know her and Kane are together, I doubt one of them would let the other go to Polis alone. If they agree, who would become chancellor?"

"Can't Kane be chancellor and an ambassador. It makes sense, doesn't it?"

"Yes, I suppose but someone needs to be in charge in Arkadia."

"We will let them decide who will be in charge while Kane is in Polis."

"I trust his judgement of your people. We should go to sleep, we have to wake up early in the morning."

"I agree."

We both get undressed and get into bed.

"Goodnight, Clarke."

"Goodnight, Lexa."
