Nothing lasts forever. When we imagine the forever, we think of the infinity that one will lasts beyond and all. What we fail to imagine is that the forever is not the infinity. What we describe forever is mere dependents. There is a forever, yet it's nothing that we can imagine, to grasp the correct concept.
Love will wither. Presence will eventually end. All the grass perish, the sea dried, and life ends. All the stars will go out and planets will crumble. The existence of the universe will end. It is unsure if all will go loud or silently, but I can imagine that it will take a long process where the word "long" is only but a moment.
I cannot fathom the nothing. Where all will no longer exist and time is no longer a factor. Humans cannot comprehend the nothing, only when it is not applicable to themselves. Life cannot imagine what is not, only a obscure version of the life they live. Imagination repairs on what is not, yet reality is a slow moving process we all accept, much live living a moment.
They tell you not to dwell on that stuff. The fixation of the end as an addiction? I heed not those words. Sure, we shall all perish and existence will never be the same. We dwell the same. We do not just wake in one world and dream of another. Again, shall we not live so, does it exist?
Life is code, a bunch of morals and systematic instinct. If we try to live in the world beyond understanding, yes, we will adapt, though the definition of that scenario is not quite correct. To live beyond the world of understanding is to transcend understanding itself. You will not know. Dead as dead, without knowledge or grasp, control.
Nothing will last. Stars go dark. Wind will stop. All that we know will eventually end. We walk past that to a world, a universe, that we do not understand and never understand, we will go mad.
Yet, the stone is here. The ability to exist is a blessing or accident. We have a gift where we experience the now. Understanding is slow, and action slower. We will never grasp the atmosphere as to trek the frontier that'll never end. Trying to find its end where it will never is beyond our capacity for life. Instead, we shall enjoy our stone and mud. We will breathe the air without regret and wait for our later years. We will never know the forever, but we are here now. That alone is achievement.
