Chapter 24

"Are you two hungry?" Debra asked when we walked over
"I think I might just make some coffee." I said before going to the kitchen and being followed by JJ
"Peter Lewis is dangerous." She said once we got away
"I know. I figured that when Hotch wanted an agent with me. Whats his story?" I asked getting coffee prepared
"While you were away we got a case and he drugged Hotch. A few months later Peter Lewis escaped from prison along with other serial killers." She said sighing
"Why wasnt I told?" I asked slamming my full cup down
"You were on vacation. We were trying not to stress you out." She grabbing paper towels to wipe up my spilt coffee
"He knows about my family." I said looking at her dead in the eyes
"He knows about the boys and Will too." She said sounding upset
"Can we talk about this later?" I asked not wanting to take away from Jacobs family and their grieving
"Ya. Lets go back and join them." She said as we walked back out

We walked back into the living room and Rae had her arms crossed and pouting next to Will.
"What did we miss?" JJ asked sitting on the other side of her
"Daddy wont let me play." She huffed
"Why?" I asked sitting next to Jacob
"The landscapers are here." He said monotoned
"Rae we can play later." I smiled as she huffed and stormed away
"She is awesome." Preston laughed as we both gave him a dirty look
"Hey, dont get me wrong but she has both of your attitudes." Dylan laughed joining Preston
"I will punch you again." Jacob smirked looking at Preston for starting it
"NaNa GiGi!" Rae yelled from the top of the stairs wanting their attention
"Well looks like we are being summoned by the princess." Debra laughed as the both stood up to go upstairs.
"Mike I brought us some good ol Louisiana whiskey and some cigars why dont we go out back." Will said standing up as they both walked out.
"So congrats!" I said smiling looking at Nicole leaning on Dylan
"We are excited. We have been trying for a while and it finally happened." She said putting her hand on her stomach
"Can it please be a boy? I dont think I can deal with another princess." Preston laughed
"Well what about you Preston. When are you going to settle down." Jacob laughed pulling me into his side and kissing my forehead
"Well I am seeing someone and Im going to bring them to the funeral." He said smiling
"Them?" I asked as he gave me a weird look as I caught him on not using a gender
"You will meet them then." He said looking nervously at his watch
"You do know shes a profiler right?" Dylan asked with a smirk
"Yes." He said getting uncomfortable
"Than spit it out!" Me and Nicole yelled at the same time knowing he was hiding something
"Dont tell mom or dad but Im bringing my partner." He said with a small smile
"Damnit." Jacob said getting fifty dollars out of his wallet and giving it to Dylan
"Wait you two betted on if Preston was gay or not?" Nicole asked watching the exchange
"We bet on everything." Dylan laughed while taking the bill
"And by the way I think you owe me that fifty for Jacob having the first kid in the family." Preston laughed taking it from Dylan
"Well thats enough for me to deal with." I laughed while standing up and going back to the kitchen for a refill
"Are you two going to have another one?" Nicole asked following me in
"Um Im not sure yet." I said avoiding eye contact
"You two should Raelynn is adorable." She said sitting down next to me at the breakfast bar
"We are trying." I mumbled under my breath
"Oh no. Did I say something wrong?" She asked noticing I was holding back tears
"No its fine. Not many people know but your my sister in law so you should know." I said sighing before continuing "I cant have anymore. The doctor said it would be a miracle  if I did." I said leaning my head on her shoulder
"Well you have a strong family and we all love and support you two." She said comforting me
"Well I have had two miscarriages and an abortion so my luck is very slim." I said back
"You have had an abortion?" A sad Jacob said from behind us
"I can explain." I said before he ran out the front door and I followed watching him get into a rental car and drove away
"I can explain." I kept repeating as tears ran down my face and was brought back inside by Nicole.
