Time Heals Everything

Chapter 4

I sat awake in that chair for what seemed like forever. I was waiting until I was brought a meal so I knew what time it was. Steve finally came back in and gave me a sandwich and cut one of my hands free and watched me ear and drink water. I eyed him the whole time knowing I would be able to escape soon. He finally left and i was going to be able to go home finally.
I was able to slip one arm out and unwrap my other arms and legs. I slowly opened the unlocked door and crept down the hallway and to the door that now did not have sunlight. I stopped short of it hearing voices from a closed door.
"Dad I cant believe we have her." Steve said surprised in his own actions
"Ive had her once but this time Im not letting her go." Tyler said slamming his hands down
"What about Kelly?" Steve asked
"We keep her tied up and use her for information about Britt. Now lets get some sleep tomorrow will be a fun day." Tyler laughed as the light turned off from under the door.
I made my way to the door and it opened. I was finally free and it wasnt a dream. I was in an alleyway unsure where I was. I walked out of it and down the street in the shadows before I would go and ask for help. Time passes and I got to a place I recognized. The Target I always go to on Saturdays.
I ran up to the door and was still able to get in. I ran to the Starbucks inside and the girl noticed it was me.
"Britt?" She asked me confused
"Jules. Call the police." I said before I fainted

I woke up in a hospital room with Jacob holding my hand asleep on one side and JJ asleep next to him. Will walked in with three coffees and instantly dropped them seeing I was awake.
"What the hell Will." JJ said waking up as he pointed to me
"Oh my god." She said smiling and Jacob waking up
"Babe." He said kissing my forehead
"I know who it is." I tried to say but with a dry throat.   
"Relax we can talk about it when you are more awake. Steve is going to bring by some food later." She said standing up and helping Will clean up the coffee
"No, Steve took me. Hes working with Tyler. They have Kelly." I said after taking a sip of water from Jacob
"What do you mean?" Jacob asked confused
"Steve is Tylers son." I said leaning my head back before I shot back up
"Wheres Rae?" I asked noticing I didnt have her
"Shes still in New York. Debra and Mike are watching her. We thought she would be safer there." Will said throwing away all the dirty paper towels
"Im going to call Hotch and have them arrest Steve." JJ said standing up to leave and Will followed her out
"Im sorry." I looked at Jacob with tears in my eyes
"Its fine." He said holding my hand
"No I should have gone with you and not work this would not have happened." I said crying
"Its going to be ok. We are ok." He said kissing me and making me stop crying

"They have Steve in custody. He had Kellys blood on him." JJ said walking back into the room
"I just want to sleep." I said as my eyes got heavier

I woke up and felt like there was more people in the room other than my family.
"She needs a break." I heard come from Sandy
"She loves this job. Shes going to do it no matter what." Jacob said defending me
"She needs witness protection." Sandy said a little angry
"Im not going to let her go into witness protection. I just got her back." JJ said as I could hear the attitude
"She wont go in by herself. She will want Jacob and Rae with her." Tom said knowing my reaction
"Im her boss and I decide that. Britt, Jacob and Raelynn are going into witness protection. Steve committed suicide so he wouldnt have to answer questions about Tyler or Kellys disappearance." Hotch said before I decided to open my eyes and see everyone staring back at me. 
"Can everyone leave?" I asked just wanting to be with Jacob. I grabbed his hand making him stay as I watched everyone leave
"Whats wrong babe?" He asked looking at me
"Witness protection?" I asked with tears in my eyes
"It will only be until Tyler is caught." He said indicating he was ok with it
"What about our lives here? We have some much here for us." I said not wanting to do it
"They will be here when we get back. Its like a mini family vacation for us." He said smiling
"Are you ok with it?" I asked wanting his honest opinion and he nodded yes
"Well I guess we will be going into witness protection." I said with a fake small smile
