Chapter 33

"Britt, Jacobs on his way." JJ said as soon as I woke up
"Did I faint?" I asked confused on why he would come
"Ya you did." She said with a small smile
"Dr. Robbins said twins right?" I asked putting my hand on my stomach
"Yes she did." She said as her smile grew bigger
"Uhgggg." I groaned leaning my head back
"Babe." Jacob said coming in with a half asleep Rae in his arms
"Hey." I said with a slight smile
"You ok?" He asked looking between me and JJ
"Never better." I said with a bigger smile
"Im going to take her and see if I can get her to fully fall asleep." JJ said grabbing Rae and leaving us alone
"Twins." I said breaking the silence between us
"Twins?" He asked confused
"Twins." I said moving my hands to my currently flat stomach
"I dont understand." He said not getting the hint still
"You are having twins stupid." JJ said from outside the door apparently listening in to our conversation
"Baby?" He said looking at me
"Two." I said holding up two fingers
"Oh my god." He said making me stand up and pulling me into a hug
"How is this even possible?" He asked pulling away with tears collecting in both of our eyes
"I dont know but it happened." I said smiling

We get back home with a sleeping Rae and an overly excited JJ and Jacob.
"Will you two calm down please." I laughed while holding Rae before going upstairs
"Let me do it." Jacob said taking her from me
"Lets sit down and relax." JJ said guiding me to the couch
"Im pregnant not dying. I can stand longer then five minutes." I said brushing her off and going to the kitchen
"But its twins." She said almost yelling
"Please do not wake Rae." I said cleaning up more of the kitchen from this morning
"Can you believe it?" Jacob said walking into the kitchen
"Yes we have figured it out I am having twins." I said rolling my eyes and leaving them both in the kitchen
I walked up to my room and changed into one of Jacobs shirts and laid on the bed.
A light knock came at the door.
"Hey its me." Jacob said quietly
"Go away." I said snuggling deeper into the bed
"Your mom went home." He said sitting next to me
"Can you please just leave me alone?" I asked trying not to show emotion.
"Ya." He said kissing my forehead and leaving allowing me to cry myself asleep

"I want Mommy." A high pitched scream yelled from downstairs waking me up in a panic
I looked at my phone and groaned seeing it was dinner time.
I stumbled out of bed and downstairs seeing Jacob and Rae in a stare down
"No Rae." He said crossing his arms meaning business
"No Daddy." She said mocking him
"Raelynn Marie LaMontange are you giving Daddy a hard time." I said walking in and distracting her
"He wouldnt let me see you." She frowned
"Why is that?" I asked picking her up
"You were sleeping and I was going to go get food for us for dinner." Jacob said still standing with his arms crossed
"Well what were you going to get?" I asked needing food
"Our favorites." Jacob said knowing it was the chinese place by our old house
"Im down for that." I smiled
"I dont." Rae said
"What do you want?" I asked her
"Chicken nuggets." She said giving a pointed look at Jacob
"Why dont you get both?" I asked Jacob and he nodded yes and took her from me
"We will be right back baby momma." He said kissing me on my forehead and leaving

I was cleaning up the toys in the living room when the door bell rang.
"What are you doing here?" I asked seeing Hotch out front
"We need to talk." He said before I let him in
