Chapter 2

"Kelly." I said like a poison leaving my mouth
"Did ya miss me?" She said getting close enough to my face where Im able to head butt her
"Bitch." She said slapping my face as a smile slipped on my face
"How did you get out?" I asked wanting to know why she was standing in front of me
"Oh, you know good behavior and over crowding. Our prison systems are not the best." She said smiling and coming closer to me
"Why did you team up with Tyler?" I asked
"Well we both hate you so it would make perfect sense." She said grabbing the chair next to me and sitting in front of me
"I saw them." I said remembering my parents
"Saw who?" She asked confused
"Mom and dad." I said looking into her eyes
"Wow Mutt. You have gone crazy." She said laughing
"No, when I was dying about six months ago I was on the line of crossing over." I said defensively
"You believe in that?" She asked surprised
"I do now. Mom said she missed us. And loves us." I said as tears fell from my eyes
"How do I know your telling the truth?" She questioned me
"Because they were with my son." I said trying to blink more tears away
"But you only have a daughter." She said confused
"I had a miscarriage a little over a year ago. The baby was going to be a boy." I said starting to get upset about my missing child
"Bullshit. You have always been safe with Jacob." She said grabbing a pocket knife out
"No I havent. Rae was a mistake but she is the greatest thing to happen to me. Kelly please let me go and I wont have charges brought up against you." I said pleading
"You have no power over the charge I would get." She said yelling
"Im a federal agent." I said as she stepped away
"Youre a what?" She asked
"A federal agent. I work for the FBI. Kelly please let me go." I was now begging at this point. She brought the knife close and cut off the tape around my ankles but stopped before my wrist
"Kelly please." I said looking up at her
"Dont do anything stupid." She said before cutting me free
"Thank you." I said rubbing my wrist around
"Anytime Britt." She said as she walked me out to the door. Something in my gut was making me feel like a set up and I played off of it. I looked at Kelly smiling as she was twirling around the pocket knife. In one swift move I pinned her up against the wall hearing the knife fall to the floor. I punched her hard enough to knock her out and I picked the knife up to have for self defense.
I ran down the long hallway hoping for a way out. I ran into what seemed to be a man standing in front of a door that had sunlight coming from the bottom, my way out was blocked and I was still stuck in here. I looked up from the ground at the figure that I know.
"Steve?" I asked seeing it was him
"Britt." He said helping me stand up
"Thank god you are here. Get me to the office now. I need to get back to my family." I said trying to get passed him.
"I cant let you do that." He said spinning me around and handcuffing my arms
"What the hell are you doing?" I asked struggling as he walked me back to where I was being held
He tied me back up to the chair and went to walk out
"Oh and Britt the reason I cant let you go is because that would make our father really upset." He laughed before walking out
