Time Heals Everything

Chapter 14

JJs POV
We sat and waited patiently. The suspense was killing everyone. Debra and Mike took Rae to a hotel to sleep as well as the rest of the team leaving only Jacob, Will and I. I ending up falling asleep with my head on Wills lap as he played with my hair. I fell into a deep sleep having a dream similar to my dreams I had while pregnant.

JJs Dream
I felt small hands pushing on my arm trying to wake up.
"Henry go bother your dad." I groaned not wanting to wake up
"Whos Henry?" Was coming from a small giggling voice that did not belong to one of my boys
I turned over and I saw a mess of blonde hair and big blue eyes.
"Britt?" I asked looking at her
"Yes mommy." She said looking confused
"Wheres Will?" I asked noticing he wasnt anywhere near
"Daddy is downstairs. Its Saturday remember." She giggled before getting off the bed leaving me confused
I reached over to grab my phone off the night stand only to find it being an old school blackberry. What the hell I thought to myself. There were messages from Will and a few from Tyler saying he was canceling his visitation for the weekend. Full of confusion I followed where she went and went down stairs seeing Will holding her on his hip cooking breakfast.
"Good morning Cher." He said turning his head to me
"Morning." I said grabbing the coffee pot trying to act normal
"Hey princess go play with your toys." He said putting her down and she ran off
"You look confused whats botherin you?" He asked with a thicker accent
"How old is she?" I asked as he gave me a puzzled look
"Six. But she acts like she is sixteen." He laughed kissing my cheek
I drank my coffee and tried to put the pieces together. When it suddenly hit me.
"How did we meet?" I asked him out of no where
"Well you were drunk in a bar on mardi gra and I was your knight in shinning armor." He laughed
"Whats going on?" He said knowing something was up
"I think Im dreaming. I met you on a case in New Orleans and I didnt have Britt. I gave her up for adoption at seventeen." I said knowing the facts
"No you didnt. We met on mardi gra. You were visiting friends and things got crazy. I took care of you that night and we started dating. I ended up getting transferred to the FBI in Quantico when we continued our relationship and when you finally let me meet Britt." He said smiling
"I work for the FBI. Not you." I said panicking
"You did until you were taken that one time. You quit because you never wanted to say goodbye to Britt." He said and I still couldnt figure it out
"Mommy! Daddy!" She yelled running into the kitchen
"This conversation isnt over." He said quickly before Britt came in
"Whats up pumpkin?" He asked as she climbed into my lap
"When is breakfast going to be ready? I hungry." She said exaggerating
"Any moment." He said standing up to finish
"Mommy whos Henry?" She asked again
"I had a funny dream that you had a baby brother." I laughed as Will dropped a plate
"Go color Britt." He said starting to clean up
She left and his behavior changed
"Let me help." I said walking over to him
"We talked about this." He said looking deep into my eyes
"We promised not to talk about Henry in front of her. Shes to young to know about you having the miscarriage." He said as tears fell down both of our faces.

I woke up to Will saying my name.
"We were raising her." Was all I could say
"Who?" He questioned
"Britt and we didnt have Henry." I said starting to panic that I didnt have him close
"JJ you havent slept enough you know you have crazy dreams. The boys are fine." He said wiping my tears away
"Do we know anything yet?" I asked seeing Jacob was passed out on chairs in front of us
"No, its been almost three hours." He said as he pulled his phone out and looking at the time with a picture of Britt and the boys together at Christmas in front of the tree

We continued to wait for another two hours and Jacob finally woke up and went to get coffee.
"LaMontange?" A doctor we have never seen asked walking in
We stood up and met him half way.
"We need to wait for our son in law." Will said knowing he should be here. Two minutes late Jacob walked back in and ran over to us.
"Whats going on?" He asked frantic
"Brittney suffered extreme blood loss. The bullet in her abdomen left a few small fragments causing her to go into cardiac arrest." He paused as we all nodded. My hands slipped into both Will and Jacobs for comfort
"We tried our hardest but were not able to save the baby. Brittney was our top priority to save. We have her stable and believe all the fragments are out. She is in ICU in a coma. Visiting hours start in four hours and only one person is allowed in the room at a time." He said before shaking Wills hand only
I turned to see Jacob completely speechless and tears running down his face.
"Jacob." I said before pulling him into a hug before he completely lost it
"We will get through this." Will said wrapping his arms around us
"I wont turn to drugs. I have Rae to watch and I have you two." He said as we all pulled away.
The thought of Britt losing another child made me hug Jacob again knowing it will devastate Britt when she wakes up.
