Chapter 29

"We should go back down." Jacob said rubbing my bare back as I cuddled in closer to him
"I just want more moments like this." I said closing my eyes
"You want to fight more so we have make up sex?" He asked with a small laugh
"No just more us time." I said knowing what has to be done
"We have plenty of us time." He said making me laugh
"I mean I accused you of cheating on me." I said sitting up and holding the sheet over me and looking at him
"And I wasnt. I never could. Britt you are the love of my life and my wife. Im not that stupid to let someone so great out of my life." He said sitting up and resting his chin on my shoulder
"I love you." I said kissing his nose
"I know you do." He said laughing
"Lets go hang out with our daughter Im pretty sure Nicole and Dylan are going to purposely feed her sugar before the funeral." He said laughing
"Fine. Im taking a shower and getting ready first." I said getting out and bringing the sheet with me
"Im right behind you." Jacob said behind me

We were finally ready an hour and a half later and returned downstairs to be back with the family.
"Well finally. We thought you two were really trying for baby number two." Preston said hurting me a little but received a punch from Nicole 
"Mommy!" My favorite voice came running from the kitchen
"Rae!" Jacob yelled picking her up before she could get to me
"Daddy!" She screeched and started laughing as he tickled her
"Jacob stop." I laughed hearing her say she needs to pee
He put her down and she ran to me and grabbing my hand towards the downstairs bathroom.
"Where are we going?" I asked seeing what she will say
"NaNa said when I need to potty I do it on a special seat." She said smiling
"Oh she did. Did she?" I said looking at her when we stopped in front of a potty training toilet
"Yes. But dont tell NaNa cause sometimes I forget." She said still not getting the concept of whispering
"I wont." I laughed and helped her do her thing
"We need to get you ready." I told her as we walked out
"Ready for what?" She asked
"Well Great Grandpa wasnt feeling well and we need to say goodbye to him." I said trying not to bring up his death
"Ok." She said shrugging her shoulders as she let me carry her up stairs
"When do we go home mommy?" She asked as I pulled on her black leggings
"Maybe Sunday. Why?" I asked
"Well cause daddy said he had a surprise for me at work." She said walking around her room shirtless
"Rae get back here I need to put this on." I said holding a black v neck
"Are we matching today mommy?" She asked me once the shirt was over her head
"I guess." I said as she got excited and pulled out her mini white and black checkered vans
"Mommy cant wear those today. How about these?" I asked showing her a pair of combat boots
"Fine but I want my jacket." She said pointing to the leather jacket Jacob got her
"Ok fine. I need to change too. Do you wanna come with me?" I said and she nodded excitedly

I carried her to the bathroom and sat her on the counter as I brushed my teeth and foxed my make up. We went back and I placed her on the bed as she watched me dig in the suit cause Jacob packed for me.
"Do know why daddy got me this jacket?" She asked out of no where when I pulled all of my clothes for today out
"No. Why?" I asked as she smiled brightly
"Daddy said all the pretty girls have a black leether jacket." She said stuttering and pronouncing leather wrong
"Is that so?" I asked picking her up to be face to face to me
"But daddy said your the most prettiest girl and  he fell in love with you because of the jacket." She said smiling and giving me a big hug
"And your the most prettiest girl in the world Raelynn." I said kissing her temple

An hour later we were in the limos going to the church for the ceremony.
"Is she already asleep?" Dylan asked seeing Rae look dead
"Its our secret trick. She always falls asleep while driving." Jacob laughed quietly
"I hope ours is like that." Nicole said rubbing her stomach making me a little jealous
"We are here." The driver said before getting out and opening the door
"I will get the stroller you get her." I said pointing to Rae knowing I wouldnt want to deal with her after she wakes up
"Let me help." Dylan said taking it out of the trunk
"So why did Jacob have to get her out?" Nicole asked
"Just wait." I said smiling
"Nooooooo." Came screaming from her
"Smart move." Dylan said laughing
"She hates being woken up." I said laughing as Jacob gave me a dirty look and passed her to me
"Mommy hes mean." She said as I wiped her tears and walked with her into the church

The service was finally over and Preston was looking around for someone on the friends side of the room.
"Who you looking for Uncle P?" Rae asked as she reached for him
"A friend peanut." He said taking her from me
"The friend?" I asked smiling as Nicole joined me
"Preston!" A guy yelled walking over to us
"Good job. Pretty hot for a gay guy." Nicole laughed as I looked over and saw who it was
"Steven?" I asked
"Britt?" He asked back before pulling me into a hug
"Wait you two know each other?" Preston asked giving me back my child
"Ya. We went to high school together." Steven said pulling away from Prestons hug
"Steven?" Jacob asked walking over to us
"Ok I get it. You three know each other." Preston said getting upset
"Hey I approve." I said laughing and bouncing Rae up and down on my hip trying to get her to fall asleep
"I do too." Jacob said laughing
"Lets just go home for dinner." Preston said upset as we all laughed as he walked away.

So I am still writing this story. It might not be as long as the last one but I do have a couple ideas to keep it going. Thanks for reading 💗
