Chapter 4

Leila's POV

Emily and I both went away.

"So tell me something about this whole 'mating ceremony thing'. " Em asked me while we were heading towards The Principal's Office.

"Um, okay. This ceremony is basically a way to inform everyone in your territory that these two vampires have accepted each other. So, in this ceremony the main thing those two vampires have to do is that they both have to drink each others blood and..." I was telling her when she suddenly cut me off.

"Woah, woah wait. Did you just say 'Blood' ?"
She asked real amazed.

"Yup, now listen and don't cut me off again..."

 She was still amazed.

"First a vampire says things about the Vampire Mating System and then the vampires drink each other's blood and then we dance... And then they are mates forever..."
I explained casually.

"Oh, it's a good way to celebrate but only for vampires..."
Emily suggested.

"Yeah." We both agreed while chuckling.

We both reached the office and knocked the door.

"Come in." We heard Ms. Brown say through the other side.

We both entered and to our surprise, Zack and Ms. Brown were talking and laughing like friends who met after a century.

When I saw this, I raised one eyebrow in amazement with a slightly opened mouth and then I looked at Em, who was in the same condition.

"Oh, so you both reached here after all. Well, I see, Ms. Martin you have a very sweet friend..."
Ms. Brown told me, complementing Zack. Ew.

"Oh yes, Ma'am. Totally. But I was thinking that 'my very sweey friend' now should do something he was supposed to...." I was actually taunting Zack.

"Oh yes sure, Mr. Zack has already filled the Leave Form. So, you are now allowed to leave." Ms. Brown informed me.

"Oh, in that case we should get going. Now shouldn't we Zack? " Emily glared him.

"Oh, okay. I really had a good time with you Ms. Brown. Hope I'll see you again." Zack said with an innocent smile.
Zack and Ms. Brown stood up.

"The pleasure was all mine Mr. Zack" Ms. Brown replied...

And this whole time, Emily and I were standing by the door, crunching our noses.

Well, after this whole conversation, we all three left and walked towards Zack's car...

"So how were the preparations?" I asked as I sat in the passenger seat while Em sat in the back seat and Zack in the driver's seat.

"I sent all the invitations and Sim took care of the decorations." He told me.

"Okay, it's going to be a long week." I mumbled lowly.

Sean's POV

I returned home after good 1 or 2 hours. It was a long and relaxing walk. Proved to be quite refreshing for my mind.

I went into the Lounge. I sat there on a sofa and sighed a heavy breath. I tilted my head to the left and saw a beautifully decorated piece of paper.

I confusedly picked the paper and saw it. It was really nicely decorated. I read it and then I knew what it was.

"It's an invitation from The Martins. The eldest son got his mate, they are doing The Ritual this Saturday." Eve suddenly showed up and told me the whole thing.
