Leila's POV

I couldn't sleep the whole night. Despite every single venom-dripping word Sean ever said to me, he had the guts to sound responsible, persuasive and childish, all at the same time.

I got up from my bed and went to take a shower. As the water slipped down through my body, I could feel the tension and the stress slipping away too.

I just tried to summarize everything and got ready within 15 minutes.

I got ready and wore something dull but classy, as in a grey t-shirt with a blackish sketch. Black pants and white and black converses went along, perfectly.

I went downstairs to find everyone at the dining table having their breakfast and little conversations.

I knew it was wrong to think like this, but somehow, my family had been making me feel like a stranger lately. As if, they didn't care where I went, with whom I went...

 I mentally sighed.

"Leila." Uncle said with a fake smile.

I just smiled back and silently finished my breakfast. I mean, when you're already thinking out so loud, why would you need to talk?

Just when I was about to get up, Aunt said,

"Honey, we know about the yesterday night. You're fine with it right?"

"Of course, I am. There must be good  reasons that my brothers said yes. I'm just trusting those reasons."

She just smiled back and nodded. I got my bag and went outside.

Wait! What?!
Why is Sean here?

I internally screamed as I stood there standing still, dead in my tracks. He wasn't facing me but, of course who forgets a friend or a foe, the one who makes you smile or cry.
And in this situation, he was both.

I might not be happy to know that I had to go with him but, I just wanted to leave this place for now, and all only because of my irritating thoughts.

He turned over and walked towards me. He said, with a smirk,

"You're going to be late, if you keep on meditating over here."

Great, I wasn't the only one who was already having a bad day.

"Leila." He said in a panicked tone.

"Yes. I'm right here. Sorry for flying off to my own galaxy." I told myself rather than telling him.

He just chuckled and we made our way to his black Bentley.

I must say, although Sean was a jerk but still he had an elegant choice. He was always too dark and mysterious but yet so welcoming and impressive.

Well, I sat in the passenger seat and he in the driver's.

Sean was wearing a white and blue plaid shirt over a plain white t-shirt. He also wore white converses.

Glad, somebody has a similar taste to mine.

"I didn't know you were waiting."

"Yes, I wanted you to take your time. Or, you'd think that I'm a chewing gum stuck in your hair."

"Very well thought. I surely would've...or maybe I still am."
I said giving him a glance from the corner of my eye.
