Sean's POV

I had to admit, talking to her always made me a little self conscious and I always stayed a little careful...

"Hello?" She again asked.

"Umm...hey" I replied.

"Oh hey Sean. How you doing?" She asked and I could picture her smiling.

"I'm good. You tell." I asked a little awkwardly.

"Ah. Amazing as ever." She answered with a chuckle.

"So..." I was out of words.
"What were you doing?" Thank God something popped in my head.

"Oh nothing. Was just...doing something" She took good time to think for the perfect words.

"Leila... Want to have a ride on me once again?" I heard someone say a little distant.
It was Zack. He asked her in an amused tone as if taunting her about something.

I gritted my teeth.

It was more than enough! Jerk!

Suddenly, all my soft side got switched with my cold one. I was no longer self conscious. In fact, I didn't care what she thought of me anymore.
At least for now.

"Sean?" She asked hesitantly. She must've got my silence and realized what had happened.

"Yeah, I just got that." I said rudely.

"Sean. He was talking about his wolf." She tried to defend him.

"Okay." I replied not considering her words.

"Sean?..." She said though she couldn't make a single word further.

"Leila... I have a meeting to attend. Got to go... I don't even know why I called." I sighed and continued "Well, talk to you sometime later."

"O-okay. Talk to you later. Take care. Bye." And without answering her wishes I dropped the call.

I turned and looked at Max and glared at him and he was looking at me smiling hopefully.
He shrugged under my hard gaze.

Just then, my assistant came in to hand over me some important files. After telling him to put them on my table, I ordered,

"Tell Percy's, there'll be a meeting after an hour."

"Yes sir." He obeyed.

And just when he turned to leave, I stopped him,

"And listen"

"Yes sir?"

"Bring me a drink." And then I turned my gaze from him to Max though Max turned his eyes to my assistant.

"Sure sir." And then, my assistant left.

I stood at the balcony, smoking.

When will it be over? When will she leave? Oh, I just can't wait till then. I'll be the happiest man alive that day. All my worries and problems would finish that day.
