Sean's POV
"Cause..." I couldn't make out further.
"Cause Sean's afraid of female doctors?" Leila broke in with an amused expression...
"No! You guys are pathetic!" I screamed to both the ladies.
"Then – what is it?" Eve asked seriously.
"I don't know. She just makes me even more sick. She's weird." I said with a disgusted face.
"What?" Both, Eve and Leila asked together.
"She... is that..." I stood up and covered Leila's ears with my strong hands. She kept on struggling to get away but I didn't let her.
"She's kind of... flirty. She gives me weird looks and always asks me about my mate."
Eve furrowed her eyebrows in tension.
"Let go of me!" Leila screamed and I let her.
"This is wrong! What did you say?" She asked me.
"Not for kids" I replied with an adult expression.
"Kid? I'm 16!" She fired back.
"Oops! Centuries younger than me." I replied.
"Let her come thus time. I'll make sure she doesn't come again." Eve informed me.
I nodded my head.
Then there was silence. None of us said anything. Eve kept on passing me weird looks towards Leila. I shrugged my shoulders asking her about her intentions. Leila just kept on looking here and there.
"I need a house tour." Leila said.
"What?" I asked her with a raised eyebrow.
Eve gave me that 'you're stupid' look.
"You heard me." Leila said a little strictly.
"Of course. I have to make tea. Wanna have some?" She asked telling me to show her around.
"Sure" Leila and I said together.
"But, please not the ginger one." I told Eve.
"Oh Anna forces me to drink ginger tea too but..." Leila said leaving her words incomplete.
"It's pathetic..." So, I completed them for her.
"Who's Anna?" Eve bluntly asked.
"Annabelle, Leila's..." I started making a relation map in my mind.
"My eldest brother's mate." She told her.
"You're both brothers are vampires right?" Eve asked with a smile.
"Yeah, but... How do you know that?" Leila asked with a sweet smile.
"Max and Emily..." Eve said with a hand gesture.
"Of course... Em" Leila said while clasping her hands together.
Suddenly, through the bond, I felt dark, sinking feelings. Hurt, betrayed, sorrow...
Eve chuckled in response. Of course, she couldn't feel what I could.
But the point is, why didn't like Emily telling stuff to others. Maybe, she didn't like others to know it all. But, she had already grown frank with Eve, she had herself told her so much stuff.
"Oh, I have to know more about them." Eve said and dragged Leila away with her towards the kitchen.
"Hey! I'm the sick one here. I need care." I screamed to them but they ignored.
