Sean's POV
I...I couldn't believe that I had finally found my mate. Leila was my mate.
That meant my mate was a human. A damn human?
Oh gosh no, please no.
How could it be? It was impossible.
Max turned around and looked at me with a worried expression because it was a freaking worrying thing.
"What?" Max asked in disbelief.
"Leila is my mate." I replied still shocked.
I, I just wanted to kill her or me.
I rushed outside the hall into a room which was The Bride's Dressing room, I guess.
I rushed in and closed the door and then I went to a wall and punched the same spot making a hole deeper and deeper every time.
I screamed in frustration. There was no way that I waited for a girl so long and what I got at the end was a mere human. A weakling and a little, attitude brat.
That's when the door flung open and Max came in. He rushed towards me and grabbed my fist I was punching.
"Stop it. God dammit, stop it. Are you crazy, Sean? After so long, you found your mate and you're acting so crazy. Leila is your mate, go talk to her." Max tried to calm me but instead it raged me more.
"You don't get it. Yes, I finally found her but...she's a human."
Then, I threw the table. I was more angry at myself than anyone else. It was like waiting for it to rain for a thousand years and when it did, flood came.
"Wait, okay. I called Simon." He told me.
Just then Max was about to leave when Simon came in and saw the room's condition.
"Hey, what happened?"He asked still surprised.
"Simon, there's a great news for you." Max said awkwardly.
How could this be a good news?
I was just sitting on a couch with my head between my both hands.
"Really?" Simon asked suspiciously.
"Yeah. Actually, Leila is Sean's mate." Max said trying to make things go smooth.
"Oh, really?" Simon asked in disbelief.
"Simon, please inform your family except Leila, I'll tell her myself." I popped in their conversation and said coldly.
"Listen, Ryan. Please be a little gentle. You know she's not good with vampires." He told me.
"I know, Simon. I'll handle her." And with that, I took off my coat and dropped it on the couch and walked outside the room where Leila was.
I saw her still with that jerk. They were holding hands and were about to go and sit on the chairs on the stage. I suddenly showed up and said,
"Excuse me, would you mind if I'd borrow your partner for a moment?"
I asked tauntingly while blankly looking at Leila who was doing the same towards me."Zack, please leave them alone for a moment."
Simon came from behind and said. Leila and I, still staring each other plainly."Um, okay. You're sure Sim?" That jerk said and I moved my head towards him with an irritated smile and saw that he was looking at us with confusion.
"Yes, he is." I answered him back coldly. Then Simon went towards his family with that jerk while I saw Max dancing with that same girl.
"What the hell is happening?" Leila asked with a raised eyebrow.
