A happy chapter 😊

Sean's POV

Well, after I was finally able to convince Leila to forgive me and well...our little moment, we decided to drive to my place.

It was silent through the drive. Though not the eery one, instead the comforting one. When you felt no more words were needed to tell each other how you felt.

"I'm gonna turn on the radio." Leila suggested out of boredom.

"Actually no...I want to talk to you about something."
I told her a little mysteriously.

"What did you do now?" She asked with a sigh as if I did something wrong just everyday.

"Well...Eve's mad at me." I answered neglecting her idea of me being the spoilt guy.

"Gosh, why?" She asked with a little shock and worry.

"Umm...maybe she wanted to see you and I told her not to." I explained without looking her in the eye since she could've been thinking that I was affecting her other relations 'cause of our ups and downs.

"And...?" She trailed off. I wondered how she knew that there was more to it.

"And...maybe I misbehaved a little."
Okay, now I was a little ashamed.

"God, you're so ungrateful Sean. Why do you hury her?"
She asked as if Eve was her mother, not mine.

"Okay, first of all, I'm not ungrateful. Second of all, I didn't hurt her. Third of don't scold me."

"So...?" She asked as she yawned.
Literally?

"So, I need you to help me make it up for her."
I told her.

"Silly. Just get her some flowers and her favorite chocolates and apologize and promise you won't misbehave again. Simple."
She advised. To be honest, she did make it all sound so obvious...

"So many ands..." I said with a sigh.

"Well you asked for it." She replied with a smirk.

I passed her a smile too. Not because I agreed with what she said but 'cause I was very glad she was with me again.

She started looking outside from the window.

After a few moments, I heard her giggle.

I looked at her with a mischievous smile of my own.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing." She replied simply, still smiling.

"Come on, tell me." I insisted.

"So many things happened today. But I just can't forget one thing."

"The kiss?" I asked, eyes and voice filled with mischievousness.

"No, the part when you accepted you're a jerk." She informed me and again started chuckling.

I sighed, all mischievousness gone.
That was something I'd make her forget if I could.

Leila's POV

We reached Sean's home. The Sun was starting to set but still hours would be taken for it to be completely gone.

The view in front of my eyes, was a little spooky. Sean's house was really really big but it was dark. As if the house itself held many secrets and haunting stories.
