Leila's POV

Two days had passed since I returned from the hospital.

Everyone was back in their routines but I was still stuck in the moment when Sean told me that we both were mates.

I was lying on my bed in my bedroom, staring at the ceiling, which I didn't know was so interesting.

Emily and Max had started hanging out together.

Alex, Sim, Ace and Anna were like as if nothing had happened. It was so easy for them to pretend or feel like that, but for me, it was like the end of humanity had come...

Zack was busy with his pack stuff.

I didn't see Sean after our conversation in the hospital...for good.

After thinking a lot about my screwed life, I decided that I should go downstairs and try to drift my mind off of this whole chaos.

"Finally! You showed up." Anna seriously yelled at me while I was still standing midway at the staircases. She was taking a pizza in the lounge...I guess.

"Well, yeah. I did." I sighed.

"Come on, everyone's in the lounge. We guys are really having fun." She said excitedly.

"Yeah, I can hear that." Then, I went in the lounge to find everyone, except me, there. Cool.

"Woah, See our crescent moon is here."
Zack said out aloud in between laughs and everyone started looking at me and I noticed that everyone was laughing like crazy, drunk teenagers.

Everyone was dispersed. Someone was sitting on the floor, someone on the couch...

"Why a crescent?" I asked in confusion.

"Because it's always there but, you only see it if you're lucky enough."
He said laughing and everyone, after pausing to hear him, burst out laughing like it was the funniest thing.

I was getting annoyed but one thing was clear, I wasn't that time of girl, you would try to make fun of and she would just go away. I knew how to hold my grounds...

"Oh, be careful honey. Moon even has a dark side, you'd prefer not to experience."
I said darkly while sitting on the floor.

"Oh yeah, I totally agree with you." Zack said while smirking and handing up as if he surrendered.

"If you wanna quarrel, then just say it. I would love to do it."
This time, I smirked more playfully than him. His stare never leaving my eyes.

"Never." He said easily and calmly.

"Well, that's good." I totally said the truth.

"By the way, where's Em?" I asked.

"Yeah, she. She is out with a friend." Zack said trying to hide something.

"Which friend?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I...I don't know." Zack stuttered.

"I thought she was helping Ace in kitchen." I furrowed my eyebrow.

"No, she isn't." Zack replied uneasily.

I just hummed.

"Okay, so let's play something. Um, pass the parcel?"
I suggested.

"Yeah, maybe." Alex said as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Okay, so-..." The door bell cut me off.

"I'll check." I said as I stood up to see who it was.

As soon as I opened the door, I gasped.

"Uncle John! Aunt Mary!"
I ran and hugged them tightly.
