"Some cry with tears, other with thoughts."

Sean's POV

I opened the back door of my car to return Leila her so precious bag back and when I was just about to pick it up, my phone rang.

I saw the caller ID and picked the call,

"Hey, Sean."

"Hey. What's up Max?"

"Funny. I was about to ask you the same thing." He said in an amused and excited tone.

Man.

"Nothing's up." I replied sternly.

"Come on Sean. Where did you guys go? Did you guys take some pics? You know, Emily won't believe you unless you show her those pictures. Don't tell me you guys fought there too. Did you?" He suddenly blurted out everything.

Is he this much stupid to think that Leila and I would ever have fun together? How could he think that Leila and I would do something highly adventurous which would intrigue him.

"Max. Boy, take a break. She had school today so, we didn't go anywhere. No, we didn't take pictures and yes, we fought. As usual..." I replied.

"Sean. Everything's okay, right?" He suddenly asked in a serious tone.

"Yeah. Everything's fine. Why'd you ask?"

"Nothing. Just afraid if things mess up."

"Max, trust me. Nothing will happen. Besides, I think the way Leila and I hardly bear each other, and we're still trying to catch up, it's going much better than expected. Isn't it?" I tried to assure him.

He just hummed in response.

"So, what if I call you back?" I asked.

"Yeah sure. No problem." He said.

I smiled and hung up the call.

I took the bag and went back to my — oh, Leila's room. But, all in vain. She was sleeping as if it was her last day to sleep.

I dropped her bag on a couch which was in front of a wall sized window. I sat there and saw the view.

Now, much people would think that the view must've been much more beautiful if it was evening or dawn or dusk.

But, I think, it was just afternoon and the view was awesome. Something promising, strong and positive. I breathed in a large breath and exhaled.

I got up and went to my room just beside Leila's. I sat on my bed and reached out to the side table where my files were already set up.

Guess, it was time for work.

.....

~ After 4 hours...

Sean's POV

I worked for consecutively 4 hours!
I completed all my office work in these hours.

So, I mistakenly  thought, '

Let's check up on Leila, how about that?'
