Chapter 2

Sean's POV

I also went back home laughing all the way.

"Woah, woah wait. You've gone nuts?" Eve said as soon as I entered.

"What?" I asked managing myself to stop laughing like maniacs.

"You're laughing like..." She trailed off blinking her eyes several times.

"Like?" I asked.

"Let's...drop that." She said while nodding her head with a smile telling me she didn't want to ruin my mood.

"You won't believe something unbelievable. Today, I met a human girl in he forest and she was fighting back like I couldn't snap her head in moments."
I told her again scoffing at that girl's unusual reaction.

"So what's funny?" Eve asked while crunching her nose.

"Really? Oh come on Eve. Don't be stupid. Especially when you know I can." I answered back with pride.

"Literally Sean? You're laughing at a girl 'cause she fired back at you?" She asked with boredom.

"Eve, I'm laughing 'cause that girl was stupid. She knew I'm a vampire but still she was retorting back like I couldn't snap her head off or rip her heart out." I smirked thinking about all the cruel things I could do to her.
Though, I wouldn't have.

Eve just sighed in disbelief.

I chuckled and told her,
"I'm going to sleep. Please, don't disturb me."

"At your orders, sir." Eve said in a mocking way.

I went back to my bedroom.

Leila's POV

"Urgh, such a jerk. This World definitely has no shortage of idiots." I mumbled to myself.

I ranted along my way to my home and my luck, the first person I met was Annabelle. She was my eldest brother's mate and also a vampire.

She had green eyes and and pitch black, medium length hair. She had a tan skin tone.

"Where were you? Do you have any freaking idea how worried I was? Do you want to be late for your first day at school? Huh? Now come on and eat your breakfast real quick."
She said in one single breath.

"Woah! Take a breath Anna. It's okay. I couldn't sleep the whole night in excitement so, I woke up early and went for a walk in the forest." I told her with an expressionless face.

"And why's your mood so screwed up?" She asked suspiciously.

"Because..." I took a break and sighed.

"I met a vampire in the forest and you won't believe how arrogant he was. I wish I could just kill him at the spot. Leech." I told her with a violent expression.

"Leila, for God's sake, first come and have your breakfast." She said a little worried, clearly ignoring my 5 year old tantrum.

"I'm not hungry, Anna." I replied with a bored expression knowing she was not interested in my encounter with that guy.

"Come." She said in a demanding tone as she stepped forward to grab my arm and dragged me to the dinning table.

I sat and Anna went inside the kitchen to bring me my breakfast.

"Good Morning girl." Simon, my second brother, came and kissed my forehead. He sat down with me at the table.

Sim had dark brown, a little curly hair. His skin tone was perfectly fair and he had hazel brown eyes.

"Hey, Sim." I replied with a bored tune.

"You went to the Forest?"

"Um, yeah like kind of. Okay, yes." I said ready to be scolded.

"Well, It's actually your first day of school so I don't want to scold you but you know it's dangerous for you. Why can't you just do what we guys tell you?"
He asked as we had this conversation just too many times by now.

"Who went to the forest today?"
I don't know from somewhere Alexander, my eldest brother, came and now I knew that if Sim or I didn't cover it up, I was done.

Alex had chestnut hair and chocolate brown eyes. He had an olive skin tone.

Not showing off, but my both brothers were super handsome.

"Nobody but Leila, but don't worry I took care of the matter. Again." Sim replied and said 'again' in an obvious tone.

"Yeah, but you know what happened? I met a stupid vampire in the forest. He was so arrogant and self praising, like can you believe it?" I tried to change the subject as I said in an over-dramatic tone.

"What can I say now, Leila? Just be a little more careful next time. Okay?" Alex said a little annoyed.

"Yeah." I said with my eyes on my laps giving off a guilty expression.

"Hey, Leila. Don't ruin your mood because of some stupid vampire. Besides, today is your special day. You've been waiting for this day since years, now live it."
Stacey came and said in a satisfying tone. She was Sim's mate.

Ace had honey-colored, straight hair that reached her mid back. She had a fair skin tone and very light brown eyes.

"You are right. Actually you all are right. I shouldn't ruin my special day just because of some narcissistic idiot like him." I said with determination.

"Well, that's good. But, now eat your breakfast and go to school."
Anna came along with my breakfast and said.

I was walking my way to the school and thought about what happened today. I sighed and let it all go.

I reached school and saw Emily, my best friend. She knew everything about the Vampires and the Werewolves standing at front of the main gate, waiting for me.

Emily had brown hair with blond highlights at the end of her hair. She had blue eyes and a fair skin tone. She was utterly pretty.

"El! Where were you?" She asked.

"Long story, I'll tell you later." I shoved it off making a note in my mind to tell her all about the morning afterwards.

"Okay, but for now, come with me to the reception, we have to go and collect our timetables."
She suggested.

"Okay." I replied.

"Hey Leila, what do you think?  Catherine will be with us this year? I so hope not."
Em asked on our way to the reception.

"I don't know. Neither I want to. Besides, it's not like many eyes are awaiting her."
I scoffed even thinking of her.

"You're right." Emily said with a grin.

Catherine was the 'plastic' in our school since years. Though unlike in many schools, students at my school used to avoid her since all she did was bully newcomers and show everyone her Prada and Gucci stuff. But not everybody cared, like us.

Em and I matched our timetables and luckily most of our classes were together.

So, we both went to our first class which we actually had together.
